$300 is a bit on the high end. The one for $430 is probably only that expensive because it's really really clean and has the foam and stuff which people seem to value.

^ You would be dropping close to two grand on sight unseen boards.  I was going to take gamble on one of them, but after seeing the banged up connectors on the kishsavers, a lump deal means you could end up with almost a dozen boards that need to scavenge each other to just be usable or cleaned up enough for people to take a risk on them once they see pictures.  You could also end up with 11 perfect boards worth $4400.  There are no promises.

Nothing personal against you tin, but anyone who says this is a some screaming good deal is an example of how people here tend to throw basic common sense out the window when it comes to buying keyboards, and ESPECIALLY these old buckling springs.

The high $300 to $400 dollar range applies to goods with known qualities, pictures, and proof, as well as not representing part of a large lump investment that has the potential of never being recoverable.  This isn't just some regular wholesale. 

ALL THIS HAVING BEEN SAID: This is a very unique and rare opportunity.  I hope these make it through shipping well, as this is an influx into an otherwise starving market.  I'd love to see how they turn out.

almost universally, taobao sellers were selling boards with ruined internals, or internals that had a small amount of damage that they then covered with hot glue and ruined. i even made clear to these sellers that i was only interested in the boards for parts and did not care about any issues at all that the board may have, yet they still insisted on kludging broken parts together with hot glue and gumption. personally, if i were to pick up this lot, i would not pay more than 75/board (note that the going rate on taobao is about 40$/board). the labor involved in tearing them down and rebuilding them far outweighs the value of the parts.

Ok. The first batch(8 boards) I sold on deskthority is from taobao. The second batch (5 boards) I sold on here and DT is from Japan. And this batch, is from the states.

Posting pictures, testing each one and showing they work, and promising to pack things better (like with bubblewrap and packing peanuts and in a reinforced box or boxes) and following through with that would help with a lot of the criticisms that people have.  Swearing like that and being verbally abusive is just going to turn people off.

Or if you just want them gone, why not send them off to someone here who can recondition them and then split the profits at an agreed upon rate?  That would also fix a lot of the criticisms people have with this and the kishsavers.

If it helps any, I purchased one of tin's SSKs. It arrived intact, and it's only(?) got 5 broken rivets. Manf in 1993..... There is a running crack between the q and a rows though
