Other than the slight spring ping I can hear in the typing test these sound great. Would love to get a rough estimate on the pricing of 60% or 65% set. Looking forward to more info in the future.
Mind you this was done on a uber rattly poker with bone dry switches...
Main reason for doing first public tests on a noisy pok3r is simply to give an accurate feel for how it sounds on a HALF decent keyboard without 100 hours of lube and other mods.
On clicky switches some of the caps with larger cavities may resonate depending on the switch and dampening factor of the rest of the keyb assembly.
You may have noticed that the lightly dampened spacebar with its huge cavity, does not "ping" at all.
Mind you, the space bar is riding on an unmodified blue cherry, and operating exactly like you'd expect a spacebar to operate.
I could write a book on sympathetic resonance in keyboard assemblies... but I think i should spend that time on making caps.
