Big fan of how the knob blends into the rounded corner, but the front-height might be an issue for me. Would be perfect if it was under 20mm.

It would be an unforgivable sin if teal ends up not being one of the color options in the GB.

Also would it be possible to have accent colored (teal or coral) top and black / white bottom?

I was really excited about the IC until I saw that the front height is 22.5mm. That’s a dealbreaker for me. I don’t think I can type on anything more than 20mm. Is there a reason why the front height is so high?

I think the knob is kinda big. It looks oversized to me and the side is a bit too thick if you ask me, but overall like the layout and the design is interresting. Looking forward to upcoming updates and would like to see some sound test with this more uniwue bottom design of the board and how it affects the board compared to "normal" cases.

As to the front height, it is not easy to get the front height under 20mm, as to keep the triangular cutouts on the back large enough while also keeping the top and bottom segments vertically symmetrical, a slightly higher height is needed. The large chamfer on the front should help somewhat, and I am also looking into getting a matching delta wrist rest made.

Not too much of a fan of the back "grill" tbh, but this looks really nice. How many colors will be avail, and do you plan on making artisan knobs to go with it?

Can I check how you measure front height?

Another thing i wish it can be changed is usb cut out. I strongly prefer a centred USB port.

I have rerun my weight calculations, and have updated the estimated weight. I'm not sure why it was so high originally, but it is now estimated at 3.9kg (8.6 lbs).

My Jelly Epoch is also 22mm front height so I guess I can live with it since I like the design so much. First interesting 65% layout I've seen in a while.

Don't worry, there is no possible confusion thanks to the "A" at the end ;)

A lot of you asked for a POM plate option for Delta, and so I have gotten POM plates cut by none other than Jae from proto[Typist]! They should be arriving next week, and I'll see if they will be a good match for the board  :)

Love the look out of this board, has a really nice form factor, compact, has a well thought out rotary encoder which adds to the look.
Personally not a fan of the grill, wish there was an option for the back 'grill' section to be acrylic with underglow option...make it look stylish and that would nicely be my end game!

I too love the look... my favourite execution of the encoder thus far. Gives this board such a unique aesthetic.
Although I appreciate the commitment to design language of triangles, and the unique back, I would personally love an alternate option to the grill being also explored (such as the frosted acrylic suggestions). But you don't have to, but it would be cool.
Regardless, great job, I've seen sekrit renders of this for a while. Maybe one day a 75% variant?

I really appreciate your support! :) It's unlikely that an underglow version of Delta will be happening, but as with a 75% Delta, nothing is off the table.

Update:
Another set of prototype units have entered production. These are going to be sent to content creators and I hope you all will enjoy the streams!  I also would like to give a big thanks to everyone who has supported Delta so far. I never anticipated the amount of enthusiasm for the project that I've seen, and I really am thankful for that.  As for pricing, it is still being figured out, and I appreciate your patience.

Ok ok I really like what you're doing here with this. There are a lot of interesting design choices that put this above the regular "rectangle" and I'm pretty intrigued! I'd like to throw my hat in the ring for a request for GREEN! More green keebs plz!

Update:
The prototypes recently finished CNC and are being anodized and e-coated right now. Unfortunately there are a lot of factors that go into pricing, and it has taken a while, but I should have it soon. I am also getting a more accurate scale to take better weight measurements for the keyboards. Another note is we are looking tentatively at a late Q3 / Early Q4 GB date (subject to change).

Not too much of a fan of the back "grill" tbh, but this looks really nice. How many colors will be avail, and do you plan on making artisan knobs to go with it?
The front grill is interrupted by the usb cutout. If the triangles were made larger so everything was uniform to accommodate the usb cutout it would look much more pleasing to the eye imo.

I was really excited about the IC until I saw that the front height is 22.5mm. That’s a dealbreaker for me. I don’t think I can type on anything more than 20mm. Is there a reason why the front height is so high?

Big fan of how the knob blends into the rounded corner, but the front-height might be an issue for me. Would be perfect if it was under 20mm.

Can I check how you measure front height?

Another thing i wish it can be changed is usb cut out. I strongly prefer a centred USB port.

measuring the correct way ic

This still isn't the correct way tbh, the most correct way to measure is the effective front height to front most top corner of the stem as seen here:

I am also concerned about the height of the board but IMHO this is the consequence of the main design idea of big bulky industrial board in line with thick bezels and thick nav block spacing.
Of course the internal mounting bracket is the main reason for thickness but if you check Polygon 65 you should agree with me that general layout ratio must be carried across all dimensions. (Unless you are intentionally going for oddity the linked design proposes).

So yes this board is taller than average, and this was mostly a result of wanting enough height for the triangles at the back while keeping the back as close to symmetrical as possible. Personally, I do like boards with a slightly taller height, so that was part of the choice as well.

Prototypes have arrived, still waiting on v2 pcbs to arrive (currently being assembled)
The brass weight version should weigh ~4.1kg fully built, but I still have to assemble to confirm this.
Can't wait to share some photos in the coming days :)
