About

Hey everyone, we're back with R2 of GMK Rudy! Due to troubles with novelties and deskmats from R1, we decided to keep things simple this time around too - we're offering three kits total. We'll be offering two base kits: standard and dark horse (all navy). Below is an excerpt from the About section from Round 1 about the inspiration of the set:

GMK Rudy is inspired by the classic American football film, Rudy. Based on a real life story, the movie captures Rudy Ruettiger’s journey to play football for the University of Notre Dame. To escape his impoverished life as a steel mill worker with poor grades, he works with a tutor to eventually gain admission to his dream school. Once there, he earns himself a spot on the university’s legendary team where he wears jersey #45 (pictured below).

Wonder if OG color is 1000 MOQ and dark horse is 500 and they get priced about the same w the accent key difference. Not sure there’s enough time to rekit and requote given GMK.

Have r1 dark horse-it’s an awesome color. Glad to seeing it rerunning.

Could even do something simple and invert the accent on the normal base kit

Every time I get into the colors of ABS again, I realize that the feel is not for me.

Kits are looking better than last time.

Maybe consider dropping numpad 00 from the base kit, and changing the ISO keys from R3 #~, R4 \| to R3 \|, R4 <> (this is the more consistent option, and it's also more popular in sets as of late).

You can remove 1.75c spaces from the spacebars kit. This size isn't used outside of 40% boards, which this set doesn't have support for (and even if it did, these keys are only used very rarely).
Optionally, consider adding 1c and 2× 3c spaces in place of the 1.75c.

You may want to consider adding 3-key 40s support to the base kit. These 3 keys are: R2 1.75u Backspace, R3 1.25u Tab, R3 1.5u Enter
(This change doesn't affect the aforementioned change to 1.75c spaces; they should be removed regardless.)

So happy to see Rudy returning. Been wanting it since the moment I saw it. Is there any hope of offering the Dark Horse as an accent kit and not another base? Depending on price, I might only be able to buy one. That would be a difficult choice
