Buckling Spring
« on: Fri, 07 January 2011, 03:50:37 »
I'm in need  of a buckling spring to replace a missing one on my Model M. The hammer assembly is still there, all that's missing is the spring. If someone would be kind enough to send me a spare spring or tell me where I could buy a suitable replacement online, I'd appreciate it.

You can also buy them from here: http://www.clickykeyboards.com/index.cfm/fa/categories.main/parentcat/11298

You get 10 for $1, and it is both hammer and spring. It's not a bad idea to have spares lying around, anyway. Not sure what shipping is, though, but it can't be that much.

Edit: Where are you? If you're in the US, I can just pop one in an envelope and send it to you. They aren't heavy, so a single stamp would do it. If you aren't in the US though, that won't work.

Edit: Well I thought they were back in stock online, but it looks like that isn't the case anymore.  I'm going to send them another email and see if they have more, otherwise I'll take up your offer of mailing me a spring, thanks.
