Only thing you'll really notice between the Majestouch and Majestouch 2 is the LEDs on the 2 aren't as bright.

I don't have a link to the picture, but I'm pretty sure dual layer means that the trace goes through the hole and grabs the other side of the pcb along with the bottom side. Seems like it would actually make changing switches easier since there's less chance of the trace coming off if too much heat is applied.

I have no idea. I think a lot of people went crazy buying reds just because they were rare and then realized that they really weren't looking for a light linear switch in the first place. I think they're amazing and people who sell them are nuts.

How does one differentiate between the Majestouch and the Majestouch2?
My Cloud of Boobs just got here and it labeled as Majestouch Linear R Limited Edition.

Impressions thus far: It *IS* like typing on a cloud of boobs! It's also very strange having no tactile bump. I thought I really couldn't feel the bump on browns, but it seems I do. The super smooth feel will take some getting used to.

Used the filco 2 red tenkeyless board for an hour, the reds are nice, very nice, but in the end, not only are the browns just as good IMHO (despite my prior honeymoon posts about these reds), I decided what good is a keyboard without a computer, still a hair short for my MacBook Pro, so I'm back to trying to sell my new red tenkeyless, plus I'm still within my amazon return policy, so there is that. I'll just get the ninja tenkeyless browns later on. I'm really digging those ninjas. Ninja makes every thing better. What are you, a bus driver? No... I'm a ninja bus driver! LoL. I forget where I saw that. Maybe on ask a ninja podcast.

Edit: amazon return set up, anyone wants it for my exact cost before I ship it back after the weekend, just hollar.

Edit: and it seems to be sold! All the better, I want that ninja

I was also thinking about returning my red tenkeyless but my GF ended up really liking it. Shes been typing 5-6 hours for school papers and says it's better then my Model M. Looks like i'm also looking to get the ninja tenkeyless brown. Hopefully I don't get that stolen from me too..

i finally decided to get the Filco Majestouch Brown, but now since the Majestouch-2 arrived, should i get that instead?
and why is there only a Tenkeyless variant of the Majestouch-2?
also when will it be in stock again?

i'm happy that the price stayed the same for the Majestouch-2^^
