Not receiving notifications for new threads created in Interest Checks

I'm sure this has been posted before. Just wanted to drop a note here that I am not receiving regular email notifications everytime a new thread is created in Interest Checks. Aside from relying on Tapatalk, is there anything else that I can do to fix this?

Buump - this is still happening for me with the GB and IC forums. After a month or two I will no longer receive emails on newly created threads, so I will have to go back and uncheck "notify" and recheck it in order to restart the threads.

Is this an intentional feature of the site? It would be great if I didn't have to keep doing this.

If it helps, I've never had a problem receiving emails for new GB/IC threads since I enabled them in 2017 so it's probably not the site?

Still not convinced. I have to disable and re-enable the feature consistently.

Had the same issue years back. Mentioned to staff but never got it resolved. Sometimes it'd work and sometimes not (most of the time not). Disabling and re-enabling would make it work again, but not for long... I got tired of messing with it.

Still not receiving email notifications despite having watch and notify settings on multiple new threads.

Same. For the past couple days, no email notifications for thread replies and pm's.

If they are using gmail, ask them to
1. check the Spam folder (it's in the "More" category toward the bottom of the folder list)
2. add webmaster at n.geekhack.org to their contact list

Also there was an e-mail notification issue that started last Wednesday and has just been resolved a short time ago--could be that as well.

Having just joined GH, i was having this issue after choosing to be notified on the IC and GB pages and realizing that it worked for a couple days then stopped. I tried the "unnotify then re-notify" and it worked for 1-2 days and now has stopped working again. Just thought I'd share. Thanks :)

Yep, lol. I'm not really expecting this to get resolved at this point. Just get used to hitting the "unnotify" and "notify" button  on IC and GH pages every once in a while
