KKB Green Alert
Hey, green man back at it again. There’s no long explanation needed. This keyset is inspired by IMSTO Irish, and I think Green Alert would be cool. I also love green, trees, grass and frogs.

IC Form
If possible, I hope to make this set in-stock. I will gauge interests using the number of responses and pitch it to vendors.
Did I just see KKB Violet Alert and want to do the same? Yes.

Material - ABS
Legends - Doubleshot, Tripleshot (shinethroughs) and UV print (sublegends)
Colors - L9, U9, SP VV

Changes

Color:
SP VV —> RAL 160 30 35
(SA Nuclear Data —> GMK Nuclear Data)

Base kit:
remove r3 pgup r4 pgdn
change to bar 5 and add scoop 5 (kkb doesn’t have nipple)
change to text+icon numpad enter
change alt to alt gr
add 3 key 40s

Addition kit:
change to doubleshot cherry enter (like ka1953)
add accent esc and enter

yes only the sublegends. tripleshot is too expensive.
cherry keys maybe possible to do doubleshot like ka1953, but i’ll have to talk to kkb to comfirm.

Niiiice. The only thing I'd recommend is adding some macro keys (I am desperate for KKB to run macro keys in "boring" colours so this may help them decide to do that)

I didn't realise the Irish language used ñ and umlauts. Why not call the addon kit US-International rather than Irish? I feel like "Just because it's green" is a lazy excuse in 2024. An actual Irish layout would be mostly the same as UK-ISO with some slight additions like fada over some legends.

i’m asking kkb for new doubleshot mold moq, let’s see if this is possible. if it doesn’t look bad, i’ll try to bring back gmk macros in kkb too.

Killer set, I know some people are gonna bang on about (insert color here) alert but I think this one is definitely worth the effort. I also second putting a green Esc. key in the alert kit.

That is the best Windows key logo I've seen in a while. If this was blue or purple I'd be all over it.

xyz alert sets are trending so to speak, I don't think it will be long before we see some other color on beige

imo tripple shot is worth the extra price if it's possible. UV print feels kinda off somehow

so far so good. kkb has few inconsistencies compared to gmk, but gmk also has inconsistencies to be fair. if you dont look at keyboard from like 3cm all the time, it’s not a problem. for the price i think it’s pretty damn good. i love their tray too.
