ANSI Space Saver for ISO Space Saver

Title says it all. Id prefer German ISO, but any ISO layout would be better then ANSI for me. Need my UMLAUTZ. Im willing to throw in some boards/other stuff/cash in to sweeten the deal.

Would it not be enought to just swap the keys from a "full-sized" Model M with German layout?

Sadly, no.
Also, the SSK keys have different legends from regular Model M keys, an Fn layer nupad for example.
