Sweet, I'll bump the thread when I get in town and know my movements.

I'll be staying in Coogee, not sure if that's close to anyone.

Whatsup Sydney GH crew, so I have a odd request.  I will be in Australia(Sydney) from March 18th to April 1st. And I need ideas of what to do.  Right now I want to go to new zealand to see all of the lord of the ring stuff, and then fly to cairnes to see the great barrier reef, then fly back to sydney.  I have no idea what else to do/see besides those things.

Schedule so far is. 4 days in sydney, 3/4 days in auckland/New Zealand, 3/4 days in Cairnes, then 3 more days in sydney.  Help my plan my trip please!

Also if Cairnes isn't the best place to see the GBR, let me know!

I wish I could meet all of you guys, but I won't be in town for your meetup!

I live in Cairns, have stayed in Airlie beach. I have not actually checked out the GBR its on my things to do next holidays as well as learn to scuba dive. I thought Airlie beach was amazing. I think you will be here during stinger season so you may have to wear a pink guy suit if you want to swim at the GBR but i dont have heaps of knowledge of the area as only been here for a bit over month.

If i were you I would seriously consider airlie beach as an alternative but you would have to do a bit of research on it.

Hey swimming, I've been pulled into some work related dinners so won't be able to make it into the city.

If by chance you (or anyone else in Sydney) happen to be around the Coogee area tonight or tomorrow night let me know.

Sorry for the short notice.

Let me know how many of you would like to come / are available - I'm pretty flexible on location

If the date doesn't work we can always push it back a bit

So I'm trying to think of a good location for this - I'm in the inner west and can drive

Would be good if we could get a place where people could show off their stuff

I was thinking we could secure a bench at a park and Ill cook up some sausage sizzle for everyone

that would be nice if it's not raining or super hot on the day. the sunlight would make for great photos too.
