Congrats! IMO Trophy Silver is one of the best looking skulls out there. I didn't participate in that sale because I didn't have a Topre at the time and I really kick myself for missing out on a chance at one of those.

As I said in the Post Your Topre thread, those are some really nice caps. I really like the Drunken one; IMO it's much nicer than the oktoberfest (which gets posted all the time)

Congrats! IMO Trophy Silver is one of the best looking skulls out there. I didn't participate in that sale because I didn't have a Topre at the time and I really kick myself for missing out on a chance at one of those.

That sale still kills me. A sale with first dibs for Australians and all the caps are BS or Topre. The real kicker is that Trophy Silver was probably one of my favourite single color skulls and I'll never know it's joy!
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

I acquired this really interesting early version of a Clack Factory skull.  The underside and profile are quite different than today's skulls.  It's a nice milky, very slightly translucent (my pics don't show it very well though) white color.  It seems to be a bit lighter than the "ghost white" Topre skull I used to have, but my memory is fuzzy.

Hardcore White, milk white skull, 3D

FXE logo, ridges in the base, notched stem, and rounded outside edges

Opposite inside wall:  Painted (?) FXE logo

Side profile comparison:  HC White (left), milk white skull (right)
The milk white skull is slightly shorter, and the top face has more of an angle to it.

Are you joking or were those actually a thing? Also if they are real are there any pictures?

I used to own the Deep Purple Topre, it's been passed along to another collector half way around the world & I recently learned it's back in the USA in the hands of another friend. It's one of the Boldest Clacks I've owned (and I've had a very very extensive collection, including other rare purples), & while I can't say for certain how many were made - I was only ever aware of the single one that was first owned by a good friend of mine, then me, off to Italy & the same cap now back in the states.

Yeah unfortunately for me I have a feeling they might only exist in Topre, never seen or heard of an MX one before.

We should make a rule wherein only pics can be posted here
Not enough Clacks to be passed around to keep the thread going :(

Probably the number 1 set I'd love to have.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

I didn't mean it like that at all, Skullsicle is easily one of my most wanted. Right up there with Teal, White Rhino, and Veteran. That is a beautiful set there you have, very jelly.

Or did you mean physically put them down :)) English can be weird
