Hi all, making a GMK Classic Pink following the theme from GMK Classic Blue, Red and ePBT Classic Yellow.
The inspiration for this set is a classic pink themed set that I've always wanted. I started this hobby in 2017 with the intent to find a pink set to outfit my boards. As I've moved to HHKB/WKL layout and predominantly use 60% with split backspace, I've found that most older kits do not have support for this with correct legends. As such, I have decided to run a modern 'classic' variation of the white and pink colourway.
Run it through the most recent set (Yellow) and got the all clear from pngu.

Renders of kits coming soon by Kingk22.
Will be using CP as base and a lighter pink for the mods and legends.
Pink is currently undecided as I am hovering between Pantones 211C, 2037C and RAL 3015.

I would say that it was a great idea to make these 'classic' themed sets and I wanted to make my own in my favourite colour.

I feel like it may be something about the "easy" variation you can get maintaining the white alphas and changing the mods color. Keeping the alphas legends black or the other selected color, and the mods legends as well. Though I might really be wrong, and it is just serious, or jokes lol. Some, at least.

And I think the name also inspires variations, like. Hm, what about Classic "something". But just to note, Am not complaining about them, just trying to understand somewhat similar posts. I actually do prefer more vivid colors on the mods and white alphas, making a not that busy, but yet "with character" theme. I love serika exactly for that reason.

The reason why all the other sets have classic in them is because they use stock colors. It seems like you are trying to find a custom color of pink which wouldn't live up to the name classic.

I would also like this in PBT but the only PBT I like is CRP. Unfortunately I don't think the colours would come out as I would like them to on PBT as well.

I also wasn't a huge fan of ePBT Valentine specifically for that reason. Found the colors to be a little too saturated and warm. Thought it's been awhile since it's release so I hope things have changed with ePBT. There's also iLumkb's new PBT molds! Not sure how that project is progressing though.

Sweet jesus, just what I was looking for too, hope this gets into group buy. I'd also suggest borrowing or buying a RAL booklet and buying Pantone chips of interested colors for this so you have a reference on how the colors look IRL.

Memes aside this could be a nice set, as long as the pink-on-white contrast looks okay in real life.

Really happy to see this; I love pink and I love the 'classic' legend choice. It'd be great to see 'Prt Sc' instead of 'Print', 'Scroll Lock' instead of 'Scroll', with side printed 'Sys Rq' and 'Break' on Print Sc and Pause respectively. This is just me being picky though, it wouldn't decide whether or not I bought a set.

More importantly: are you planning on including a R5 bottom row for winkeyless?
