Hi! I'm Savvy formerly known as cgkeycaps Keyboards aren't really my thing anymore, but I still enjoy my hhkb and poker.
I promised so many times that I will make topre blanks and I am finally going to fulfill that promise.

Welcome to Shadowcaps!

I started making artisans about 2 years ago, but due to personal reasons I went on a hiatus. I promised many times to make topre blanks and the time has finally come.

This is only the beginning there is more to come. Please enjoy my caps I look forward to your photos on reddit and geekhack.

Don't think that you HAVE to do this alone, sometimes things get really tough and sure you CAN handle it yourself but you don't HAVE to man.
If you ever need to talk to someone PM me, i'm connected basically 24/7. I'm sure everyone here would be more than willing to help as well if you don't mind sharing, just post a thread and we'll do our best.

I remember when I was told my Dad had testicular cancer and I didnt do anything apart from stay in my room,cry and pray it had not spread. Luckily one surgery later and he is clear because he caught it early. Just hang In there buddy and I hope things improve for you, there are always people here as well if you want to chat. <3

Right now it is going to be very hard to get through with this issue.. I just don't know what to do at times its funny how life is a really confusing unpredictable roller coaster. Life makes no sense at times.

Sorry to hear about your father and its so great to know that he removed the cancer. I'm already an adult and I'm realizing just now to enjoy my family and loved ones. We almost lost a very close family friend to stomach cancer he was on the verge of death but he made it through. It was horrible seeing him go through the pain. Life is so precious and yet so cruel I wish there was a time machine to stop all the bad things in life. Life just sucks but I'm just dominated by emotions right now I know sometime in the future I will be happy again.

I started making keycaps because it made me feel cool and happy knowing people actually wanted something I made on their keyboards. There is this satisfaction from doing it and seeing someone post the photo is really nice. It sucks to know that I haven't gotten far in keycap making and I was finally learning how to make a flawless mold and cast. I invested so much time and money into this. I'm unsure if I should sell my equipment at a discount to an aspiring maker or to continue making them.

Only time will tell.

First, I wish you great strength in getting over your personal issues. I think we all come to face adversity at one point or another in our lifetimes so I can completely empathize with you, regardless.  It's hard to put up a brave face when **** happens but please try to stay mentally strong.


Second, I just ran into your thread and saw your caps. Let me just say this: I really hope you continue making these as I'd no doubt purchase tons from you. Looking forward to your return!
