In collaboration with GH, we are launching the "geekhack" metallic stickers (design at bottom).

GH Metallic stickers are limited in production, available only this once. Max production of 900

Stickers are at $2 each (5cm x 0.8cm), with $5 shipping AATW (registered + tracking).

One person is limited to purchasing 10 (ten) stickers.

Post below for general queries, and fill in the fancy form!

Is the background translucent or nonexistent? Personally, I didn't much care for the previous one which was a thick rectangular plate and would much prefer one in a less thick material with metallic cutout letters. Is this the case here?

@damorgueHm, what you would get is the black portion with metal letters. No backgrounds whatsoever.

@boiler LOLOL, the kerning is slightly enlarged as to allow for machine cutting, bear in mind this is a 5cm sticker, hence the spacing is merely a 1.0~1.5mm, however, it will be improved in the final proto.

@iMav/CLiB Wait for the form to pop up when the countdown timer ends, I put the timer there as I dont want people saying its always campers who get these, ya see.

So these will be decals, not stickers, right? I'm in for 10 if they are decals.

Edit: I saw the answer earlier saying "@damorgueHm, what you would get is the black portion with metal letters. No backgrounds whatsoever.", but the "black portion with metal letters" threw me off.
I guess I'll see what's really up when they are finally showed or something.

It would've been nice if these were called transfer stickers or transfer decals instead of just stickers if that's what they are.

I see the point in limiting orders to 10 if the maximum of 900 ir reached. If it isn't why not let people order 10+X where X is only added if 900 isn't reached? Isn't it better to let people buy extras to increase the availability later if those spots up to 900 aren't used anyway? Better some resold than none, ofc still assuming that 900 isn't reached in which case I agree on this policy.

@kawa Well, we agreed that since some of them already have a sticker with that font, perhaps not again?

So I tried this slightly more classic GH logo, and we felt its nice.......

Btw, not crazy means dont like, or doesnt matter much?

@kmiller Sorry bro, doesnt work that way, these are est to arrive in early Jan.

@damorgue Cos that double "work" would add to our already busy schedules, and 900 would indicate a minimum of 90 people who will get 'em, makes 'em even rarer than clacks LOL.

I've never seen a transfer sticker with geekhack in cherry font. I can't say I have seen a geekhack transfer sticker at all.
Is the font used even representative of geekhack anymore?

I would vote for a different font if I had the choice

EDIT: I do find this typewriter style font vaguely nostalgic

If it aint that pretty, might redesign the one mkawa sent me, and allowing a vote on the design, or perhaps offering both.

Um nope, excluding costs of sticker, $855. Stickers cost $1.05 each, although any excesses after stickers have been shipped will be donated as well.

EDIT: All the profit is donated to GH, you cant expect me to give away so many stickers for free...........
