When are you moving into a dorm?  I don't think it's going to take 2 months for us to get these once the GB closes (which I selfishly hope is as soon as possible so that I may type on this lovely board quickly)

So is this directly from Leopold? Likely when 30 people sign up and the order happens, it would ship right then? No wait?

(I currently have and order in with GMarket, but the unit is apparently on pre-order and it's been that way since I placed the order about 4 days ago. Not sure what their timeframe is to get the units in their stock, ready to ship out...)

It will ship to my korean friend and then to me. It takes 2-4 days for him to get it and 3-5days for me to get them. These will be shipped to me in groups of 10 over 3 days.

Maybe a silly question, but I saw them as options for purchase on international sites (at least I believe, they don't translate that well)

These will come with the lavender clusters and red escape key, correct?

Im not sure if these will come with the extra keys, IIRC those were a promo thing for launch day.

That'd be a bummer, certainly not the end of the world though.  I could always just scavenge them from my 87u that I use at work.

I look at it this way.  Can I get it anywhere else?  No?  Then it's worth the 20 bucks I'm going to put into someone's pocket to make it 10000x easier for me to get my hands on this.

It's never a deal breaker if Boost's involved here.  Meaning you're guaranteed 100% of acquisition and delivery of product verses sending money to a non-descript site promising delivery of item.

Boost still stands out as the better promise verses any other so-called global distributor.

You're right. I would rather not deal with EK since Topre arrow and WASD clusters would run $30 plus shipping. If these do come with those accessories then I'd be much more comfortable justifying it. They look very nice with the nonstandard layout.

Definitely.  Don't spend time thinking about it because then you'll buy nothing, ever.  Keyboards are all about that whimsical purchase.  If it turns out bad for you then go into the Classifieds and do what normal people do, sell the gear  8) .

Wished I were really wealthy, I would just fly to South Korea, buy about 50, bring them back and sell them at cost to fellow GH members at cost.

Damn, I can't wait to get this keyboard in my hands...excited doesnt begin to describe my joy and anticipation of this. I check this thread about every hour to see if Boost has posted an update that he's taking payment!

Heck, if you were really wealthy, you should just start a keyboard business that stocks all the mechanical keyboards we have trouble getting outside of east Asia, even if you take a loss. We would all appreciate that.

Also, the occasional keyboard giveaway would be nice.

Does anyone think this board could possibly be cheaper if EliteKeyboards starts selling it? I don't know if he will start selling it, but I imagine he could order it in higher quantities. I don't know if the profit he needs to make will make it cost around the same as this GB or even more. I was hoping this keyboard would be a small form Topre keyboard that was significantly cheaper than HHKB. It *is* quite a bit cheaper, but I was hoping for sub-$200 shipped.
