It does make sense to move on, if one is able to find "the perfect" keyboard that does everything that they want it to do.

Perhaps like dating until you find the right woman to marry?

A solid outdoor physical activity is a good thing to invest your time and energy into, long-term.
Cognitive distortions are patterns of thought, typically automatic and unconscious, that cause an inaccurate, negative view of situations, people, and/or events. These include things like jumping to conclusions; black-and-white thinking; negative mental filtering; overgeneralizing; mindreading (incorrectly believing we know what others are thinking, what their motives are); and emotional reasoning (believing that if we are feeling something, or if what we are thinking is associated with a strong emotion, it must be true).

Some cool stuff. I wonder if people get in so deep they feel the need to get out. There have been a couple of posts recently that made me think this might be the case. I understand it, I have been there. Not with keyboards in particular though.

It does make sense to move on, if one is able to find "the perfect" keyboard that does everything that they want it to do.
and that would be an 1800 of course  ;D

Some cool stuff. I wonder if people get in so deep they feel the need to get out. There have been a couple of posts recently that made me think this might be the case. I understand it, I have been there. Not with keyboards in particular though.
If one has the money and time (or uses time they shouldn't) its easy to get in too deep here. I think its worse with keyboards then other things just because there is so much variety and options and its cheap compared to most other hobbies.   who knows though, watch me buy back most of this stuff again next winter  :-\

all PM's responded too and OP updated with what is sold

next batch of items will be added sometime AFTER 9PM CT tonight, no earlier.

I have two G80-11900s and my son games on one of them regularly. Except for the trackball/trackpoint thing, are there any major differences?
Cognitive distortions are patterns of thought, typically automatic and unconscious, that cause an inaccurate, negative view of situations, people, and/or events. These include things like jumping to conclusions; black-and-white thinking; negative mental filtering; overgeneralizing; mindreading (incorrectly believing we know what others are thinking, what their motives are); and emotional reasoning (believing that if we are feeling something, or if what we are thinking is associated with a strong emotion, it must be true).

the 11800/11900's are similar in physical size, maybe 0.5" wider and 0.5" longer. But those have the  F# and 9pack clusters in a stupid arrangement if you need to actually use them anywhere but in a server rack. that alone makes me dislike them. You also can only get them in browns(11800) or black(11900) and nothing else unless you mod them. And there isn't any interesting ones to collect even with only 4 I can ever recall seeing: Cherry branded beige 11800, Compaq branded beige 11800, Cherry branded black case 11900, & APC branded 11900. Oh yea also the F# and 9 pack and top 2 rows of the numpad are all different profile to make the keyboard shorter, so they don't fit correctly on any other keyboard. I think "D" profile instead of "E" for everything else
