X-keys USB 12 Switch Interface - very frustrating
« on: Sun, 03 January 2016, 17:41:07 »
I have finally managed to reprogram (though not how I wanted) my X-keys USB 12 Switch Interface. If anyone else uses this device in hardware mode, are you able to successfully program and reprogram easily?

It does not appear to rewrite to the device properly. I was able to add 2 new functions to unused ports, but it will not overwrite previous programming correctly.

l have never encountered such an infuriating device. I have read the manual multiple times.

Hi there. I work for PI Engineering. We make this device. Based on the problems you are describing, this device is defective. This is NOT the behavior you should be seeing and it is not common behavior.

Please email tech@piengineering.com and we can set up a return for you to get you a good device.
