Just a general thing to the people who don't like the current ISO support or other parts of the kits/set in general. Please fill in the form, this is an Interest Check and we're very open to feedback :) A lot of things can still change before the GB so fear not ;)

R5 is a very nice addition. The new icon alignment not so much.

I did that yesterday. :D

Also, for those not in the know, there was a rather fruitful discussion of what "ISO support" ought to mean, so if you don't completely understand what it entails and what it does NOT entail, please see the thread Topic: On the availability of ISO in GB and this post within the thread for what the suggestion for a compromise for ISO support is.

EDIT: omitted a word.

Feedback on the R5 / open question to 40% users. How will R5 be on a 40%? My first thought was "that's going to hurt your thumbs like a mad man". I'm no experienced 40% user so I'm not the right person to have an opinion about this, just something I'm wondering and putting on the table.

I welcome R5 on a planck, as long as the thumb keys are R4C. Unfortunately, the Raise/Lower keys won't be, but I'll be using the following for spacebar anyway, which mitigates the problem for me:

1u R4C + 2u R4C + 2u R4C +1u R4C

I'll be suggesting an additional pair of 1u R4C keys for the Obscure kit, for users who prefer grid-layout.

EDIT: Ok, I just realized that the Obscure kit also has only one 2u R4C key. That's not great either... :/ The previous 9009 ortho kits actually came with 6x 1u R4C and 3x 2u R4C keys.

The new modifier alignment...is it going to be entirely new legends for GMK or are they just going to center existing ones? Also, I wonder how it would look if done to the non-mod keys.

I have the ePBT set but this will be hard to pass up. Dreaming but would love to see some accents in a different color. I get that the point is to reproduce 9009.

If there's enough demand we can definitely add one, however, we already have a lot of kits as is and all of them of course need to hit MOQ.

Please, I’d love to have a vim kit

Main thing I see is the most common 65% layout is [Home, PgUp, PgDn, End] but you have moved the R4 end to the additions kit so although it mentions 65% coverage you will have a lot of people being forced into another kit for 1 cap if they want correct legends.

I agree that of the ISO kit is already broken out then let’s at least make it more complete. Being biased, I would of course like ISO UK keys.

Is there any chance of R0 top-row? Either in the base kit or an additional kit.

Please dont lower the icon legends. The reason text-only mods are bad because they are center aligned vs. top aligned for the alphas. Text mods never look right, just.... out of place. Please dont do this to icon mods as well.

Im so excited you guys are bringing this back!

Could there be any room for Accent Colored Enter Keys In the 40's Kit too.

I know it drives the price up...but I can assure you, us 40% users will pay heavily for that little detail :)

If you are going with vintage R5, please be consistent and use R0 for the F-row!! R0+R5 is the best profile I’ve ever used.

My understanding is R0 is pretty rate even on the vintage sets with R5 rows.
I don't mind R0, but don't prefer it.

The reason we don't, is because there are so many enter keys, and all of them would need three keys each. It would end up being like 15 enter keys in that kit. Its just too much money. Were just worried about giving compatibility, in general.

Forgive me, for today is Friday and my coffee isn't strong enough. Would an "accents" kit, composed of all the accented keys (except R1 Esc and ANSI Enter) be feasible?
