I want at least one, but does the plate supports plate-mounted cherry stabilizers?

Yes, both Cherry and Costar

Another question, Can I cut the additional 4 keys for 104 keyboards?

If you look at the plate pictured above, it does allow for you to cut the top row additional keys off if you don't need the for your build.
This design is rather ingenious, I'd say.

Bumping because these types of threads are easy to miss. :thumb:

This plate will work for Filco TKL! :D
FYI, this plate has been prototyped, and tested to work on most common 87/104/108-key keyboards.

Yes! I need to get my hands on one!

I'm definitely interested, everything I've seen lately has been non Costar friendly or marketed as Costar friendly but the measurements are slightly off so I ended up having to use Cherry stabilizers. I'd probably need a case for it as well though and I'm not super fond of the current iteration of the TEX cases. I get the daughter board issues but detachable cables are a must for my needs.

Of course it does
Cheers, thought switch opening feature required 2 indents on left/right edges of plate cutouts :-\

Well, if you look carefully, the whole sides are cutout. Only the top and bottom fit snugly on the switches

Not likely since steel plates are more rigid and a person could paint there own to suit individual taste
