• THE BOW UPDATE.

I know its properly a long shot to add BOW to the IC/GB.
I wanted to play with the idea of having support for the the two most basic sets in GMK world.
With the current availability we can see with WoB. Stock WoB marks a great new era and interest that have been growing rapidly over the last year.
We could then only hope that BoW would be the next "stock" item. Maybe this add-on kit and GMK Minimal could help push that.

That said and showcased. There is nothing i can say that would make it certainly that BOW would hit GB stage.
As of now please let me know your inputs on BOW.

Yeah. If the target mother kits are the newest WoB sets then WS1 is the right choice for legends. If it were OG Cherry L9 is required. That divides the potential demand for an already limited audience. Probably the WS1 may have a bit more, not sure if it may reach any MoQ though. Personally, I may join if the final color for legends is L9, but that is just my case. I am using a swidish layout and my ANSI OG WoB may take advantage of a set like this to be usable with my layout. Let's see how the final set is finally defined and if it reaches MoQ. Hoping for the best in any case, this kind of specialty adapters really deserve a chance.

I am already very tempted to get a set. I have been using a swedish layout on all my boards at home, at the office and I even ordered a replacement keyboard for my laptop, so this may allow me to use a white on black theme not only the beige one that I am using now.

Good to hear! Yes, hopefully this kit can change that. I have the same reason, use a danish layout most of the time..
I have been waiting for a couple of years for a "no pop of color" set, that can work with the most.

Timing seems right as the WoB set from MD is cheap and available without being in a GB..
( Hopefully they will stock some more after they finish the current stock ) The availability and future WoB sets is there.

I also have a good feeling about this. Let's not forget that the set that Krakob tried with did'nt have tertiary legends and others where replaced with generic ones as he wanted to keep it as cheap as possible. So by having a "full" NORDEUK set with all the correct legends will help this set towards success.
If combined with an adapter set it might draw more attention to the NORDEUK set but what do I know.

Nowdays GMK keys cost 0.5 eur each, if you buy a big set, so that should be the goal.
Also, it could be made much smaller by eliminating keys that are almost identical. I'm not sure that a german buyers wants a Q@ key, or that you REALLY need to differentiate between <>, <>! and such. I think that keys that differ only marginally, for the sub sub legend, should be canceled. Anyway this doesn't include italian so I'm not interested. BTW the popular color for running this set is OG beige like the 9009 set.

In my case. I am interested in the set and will join when it reaches the GB phase. Personally, I really prefer people doing comments even if they are not interested, but I did not make the rules.

I am doing this complete non profit. And time cought up on me. I do think it was ok to have the IC hanging for a couple of weeks to get some more details and surveys in.

Previous offerings of similar international kits got very low demand. You want this being done even if it does not match what you need exactly than not been done at all. Personally, I would pay for the set as it is even when I may use half the keys, but most people do not buy it at all. Even in sets with huge demand like carbon, people did not buy the Norde kit, as a guy who is trying to sell the eight extra sets he bought just for the purpose to assure that MoQ was reached. Just my two cents. PD if thertiary legends are not included I do not need the set.

I have done extended work with most of the languages, so it will be easier for other people to make a GB.

Its gonna be tough to include all 3 IT, PT, SP in NORDEUK, as its almost the same amount of keys combined. I am almost done with the new KLE.

Although there are some reasons why Portuguese is here favored over the Spanish (higher users demand and fewer caps needed), there is another major difference that should be pointed out... and that's the fact Cherry didn't ever produce Portuguese WoB caps, so there's no way to get those from Cherry boards. As for WoB Spanish caps, you can get them from G80-11908HRMES and other models:

I can include them, i was saving a few keys, and most people do not prefer the € on E..
and i personally think it doesn't matter with the \ | on "><"
