« on: Mon, 10 July 2017, 04:13:09 »
Hi, can someone give me a link for Holtites china knockoffs? I'm pretty sure there must be knockoffs somewhere in interspace, else TeamWolf couldn't offer a complete boards with Holtites for 40$, isn't it? For 40$ I can barely get 130 holtites, so ...

As stated in the DT wiki page, holtite sockets for switches are part. number 8134-HC-8P2 while LED sockets are part. number 8134-HC-5P2.

Now, using the findchips.com aggregator I only found retail sellers with various prices according to different quantities. I believe you could get a better deal than the 40 USD you were asked.

Sockets for switches.
Sockets for LEDs.

Good luck.

On most the websites listed, you can buy a hundred for around 25 USD. I'd say it's a good deal.

Hi TalkingTree! Thanks for the links, still it's grossly overpriced, the holtites are worth 2-10 cent a piece I would say. At most. It's sad that people agree so much with beeing ripped off. Again, the Team Wolf keyboard is about 50$, that means the holtites there must have been purchased for approx. 5 dollar for 120 pieces I would say.. Probably because they aren't originals but knockoffs. But I can't find the knockoffs anywhere, I've alread browsed some chinese suppliers for parts, but nada..
