I've used a DSA set on a Filco before (DSA Retro) and had no issues with stabilizers. Are you inserting the white stabilizer inserts the right way? Make sure the longer part of the hook faces upward (away from you when on the keyboard).
They are set correct. At first I thought they weren't even lining up. I ended up removing them and hand test fitting them in the keys and there is no interference, they fall right out of the bottom of the key.
Ok. I should have done this before posting but I just tried a few different stabs in a bunch of other keys I have from keypop, techkeys, clack, gas mask, other sp dcs and sa, oem profile keys, etc. No fit.
They do fit nice and snug in the stock filco keys and the couple of wasd keys I have. They kind if fit in my leo keys, but not quite tight enough. They don't fit my poker II keys either. The hyper keys themselves do fit nice on the cherry stabs in my poker and leo.
My mj2 unboxing was to find this out it seems.
Maybe I'll try some replacement inserts from WASD.
Do you mean the stabilizer inserts? If so, mine were loose too and it's easily fixed by putting a small square of tape over the insert to fill the extra space.
Yes. I meant the inserts themselves. It's a bit maddening spending this much money on a new board and keys to have to do something like putting tape on it.
Thanks for your replies.
