Hi,
I'm currently working on the childs kit for an interest check and I need help deciding how many of them will be necessary.
The trend seems to be, as far as Signature Plastics goes, to offer many smaller kits that cover all the bases in terms of keyboard layouts and colour options.
Apart from potentially confusing some buyers, is there an inherent drawback to doing this? I notice that smaller group buys will go the other way, ie. larger kits and less coverage of different layouts.
I understand that smaller kits are less efficient on cost per key, but then you only get the kits you need, so it evens out for most buyers. Perhaps it is also a good way to spread out the cost of new materials and novelties...
My question:
Am I missing other variables, or is it simply a matter of anticipating how many sets will be sold and providing reasonable options?
