I've been selling it on taobao for a long time.
could order here
rubber ones: http://imsto.cn/index.php?route=product/product&path=61&product_id=58
silicone ones:http://imsto.cn/index.php?route=product/product&path=61&product_id=78
there're 2 size of the orings, the bigger ones could not be put to the cherry keycaps, only fits the OEM keycaps.
the small ones fit both cherry and OEM keycaps.
one set would be about 110 orings inside.

here're the pics of the O rings

Hello,
I was wondering , the 3$ red small silica gel orings, i'm guessing are sold in a bag of a certain quantity, so how many?
LE: sorry missed the 110 part ..
Shiping is 8$ for US or Worldwide? If it is possible what would it cost to ship to Europe, Romania?
Thank you.
-
Just got mine! Thx Imsto!
-
Hi imsto, do you happen to know the material of the old rubber rings? Nitrile, EPDM, ...?
-
LOL the subject is very funny:)
I dont think the o rings were meant to be used like that :))
-
Anybody want to Do a GB for the US to save money on shipping?
-
yeah just do it
-
IMSTO..
I want to purchase small silica o-rings but I do not want to use Taobao. Shipping to Pennsylvania, USA. I do have paypal. I guess I will just paypal you @ imsto@163.com ?
-
now get the red silica gel ones, the durability would be better, and it's also softer than the rubber ones.
they get the same size as the rubber ones, but different color and be more soft.
price 3$ for the red small silica gel orings
6$ for teh red big silica get orings
shipping cost 8$
Dear Mr. Imsto,
What is the durometer rating of your red silica gel O-rings?
I am very interested to buy both of these but only if they are different to the ones I already have.
All Silica Gel O-rings have a durometer hardness rating, like 40a, 50a, etc.
Please help.
-
I'd like to buy the small red silica gel ones.
So how do I go about doing that? Do you accept paypal?
-
Do you accept Amazon pay?
Amazon is like Paypal except there are no fees. You just transfer money back and forth all day long for free. Awesome!
-
I got the o rings and thick dye-subs yesterday. The thin o rings work great with the thick cherry profile dye subs. Thanks Imsto !!
-
Hey, could you update your first post with the durometer ratings of your rubber? And would it be difficult to use EDPM rubber? Thanks. :)
-
Hi,
I bought the small red o-rings and they work perfectly with my Filco Majestictouch 2. I had to visit German customs, but they told me it is ok and I didn't pay fees. You are supposed to declare what is inside otherwise they will hold it back and you have to get your package personally.
They asked me why I need the o-rings and I told them that they are supposed to silence my keyboard. The guy at the counter was a bit puzzled, but he didn't mind and replied "Whatever. Next!".
Thanks again imsto.
-
I sent paypal payment with the info on the o-rings I want. Do I also have to send you also an email/PM/... or is OK?
-
Hey I got my o-rings with no problems. Thanks imsto.
-
For reference, the same o-rings appear to be available on Amazon, although priced at about twice as much, and those ones are rated at 70A. Feeling out the ones I got from imsto, I'd say that's about right.
Thanks imsto for the good deal!

I wish the slow post weren't so slow :( Got 2 keyboards to put my o-rings onto (been over 2 weeks since order). I'm sure they'll be great once they do arrive though.
-
It's been almost 2 month is for mine. He claims to have shipped it a month ago. :(
-
Mine took 3 weeks to get to the US, but I've heard of it taking significantly over a month too.
-
What are the specs of the large o-rings (size, thickness, and durometer) ?
-
I already ordered mine but I wonder how the silica compare to the regular rubber o-rings.
I might review these in comparison to the rubber o-rings provided in the WASD sampler kit, but I just wanna know other people's experience.
-
I've not used WASD o-rings, but I've used Amazon 50A black rubber o-rings. These red silicone o-rings are much squishier. I would guess they are at most 40A, maybe even less. I'll measure the sizes when I get home (I have the skinny ones and the fat ones).
-
Here's a comparative photo vs. 50A Amazon o-rings:
The largest silicone o-ring is 11mm in diameter, and the smaller two are 8mm in diameter. The largest o-ring is about 2.5mm thick, and the smaller two are ~1mm. The small red o-ring is thinner than the black 50A o-ring. The two silicone o-rings are softer and "squishier" than the black 50A o-ring, so I'd guess they are 40A or maybe even less.
-
How long does it usually take to get these in the United States. Just wondering as I anxiously wait for them to come in :-X
-
Is taobao the only way to get these o-rings?
-
For anyone buying the silicone o-rings: know your keyboard before buying. I have both and the small o-rings did more for my smaller keycaps that came with the fc660m, than the larger keycap PBT keycaps that are on my Poker X.
So definitely take that into consideration. I personally find that the small does more substantial dampening and feel change than the small rings on the Poker X and vice versa on the FC660M. The large rings does this weird phenomenon in the smaller caps in which they don't do anything (or it seems that way), but the small ones do more.
-
Are these O-rings still available? I would like to buy some :) (Pmed you Imsto)
-
Anyone know the dimensions of the black imsto o-rings?
-
Anyone know the dimensions of the black imsto o-rings?
The thick ones are are about 2mm thick, with an outer diameter of 10mm.
The thin ones are about 1mm thick, with an outer diameter of 8mm.
Both have an inner diameter of 6mm.
If you're wondering what they're like, IMHO they feel just like Cherry stabilizers.
-
send payment to imsto@163.com then I will send it.
Hello, this post is almost 2 years old, can I still just send you payment and you will send me a set of O Rings that fit Cherry MX?
-
Look very nice. I'll definitely be grabbing a set of thick silicones.
-
I got the thick silicone ones and didn't like them at all on oem profile. Come keys couldn't actuate at all
-
The price for shipping worldwide is shockingly high

I had best luck with the blue EPDM O-rings I have purchased from WASDkeyboards.com.
Prior to my currently installed WASDkeyboards rings, I had purchased some black (approx. 2mm thick) and red (1mm thick) O-rings from Amazon. Those Amazon O-rings weren't made of EPDM.
Comparing to O-rings, purchased from Amazon, WASDkeyboards rings are being squishy and elastic and not as hard, they also don't split at all, but vast majority of both: black and red ones, purchased from Amazon DID SPLIT after a few months of use :(
Is this because I tend to bottom out hard? You see: I had learned to touch-type while serving in the Soviet Army, using Soviet-era telegraph machinery, that needed to be banged onto hard .
I guess that the material Amazon O-rings were made of isn't elastic enough to absorb this repetitive stress applied by a Russian telegraphist? :D
I attribute this to the material WASDkeyboards O-rings are made of: EPDM, also known as EP, EPT, EPR, EPM or Ethylene-propylene :thumb:.
