Got an anodized aluminum case in for my POK3R. I like it a lot. Besides adding a little extra weight it and looking better it seems to have made the keyboard a little quieter. Can't really complain about that. I like the new sound!

I have to ask, the Pok3r comes stock with an aluminum case, why replace it?

It's a much better case that also sits flat. Great for DSAs. The POK3R cases are lighter and painted. It's a pretty 'big' upgrade, actually. I'm surprised.

Hmm...Never would have considered it since the stock case is one of the pok3r's best features IMO.  May give it a looksie more now.

Actually considering adding one of the newer Ducky's to my collection since they finally switched to Micro USB and fixed the iffy port quality.  Been considering a new MX Blues TKL anyways to use when the wife is not around to scream about the click noise.

Mmm. Like I said, I was a bit surprised as well. I expected it to be heavier and allow the keyboard to sit flat if I wanted. Wasn't really expecting the change in sound, but I am happy with it.

It is one of the best looking keycap profiles out there, but I would never want to type on it long term.

welp. These are my 2 POK3Rs. Don't have any other keyboards anymore besides the ones that haven't sold. And yea, they're basically identical outside of the keycaps. The Cherry profile one is tilted and the DSA one is flat.

it was a german gb. ISO-DE layout.
felt strange always having to get the caps from overseas, although they are made right around the corner.
main set was dolch, the esc/enter/space was an addon.

To be honest, I don't have enough time with it to pass a good judgment call. I think the housing is cheap and the keycaps are garbage but if you need a full size board, its worth a look.

I use my HHKB 90% of the time . After reading through this forum though, I might have the bug to try something else!

Yeah it's really nothing special until you do the shiba-inu mod.  (I was actually planning on posting the pic I took when I discovered how much of my shiba's fur had accumulated under the key caps since I got it, but it's kind of embarrassing.)  It's an ok keyboard though. Nothing amazing. I'm still a rookie. My last keyboard was a black widow and before that a really tired model-m. It can only get better from here.

I currently use an HHKB with GMK Carbon on MX Sliders at work and a B.face X2 with 67g Zealios.

They both treat me great! But I'm not sure if i like one more than the other. I'm tempted to bulld another 67g Zealio board

Using this tonight. ALU84 with 78g Zealio. First board I've actually built and soldered myself, a really good experience - the only mishap was breaking a diode on the PCB.. No problem as 2 separate people sent me replacement diodes in the mail out of their own pocket, amazing. Clipped and lubed the stabs too which feel excellent.

Anyway this is like 90% finished. The keyset is a Doubleshot ABS English / Cyrillic set I got from ebay combined with some Filco modifiers. I'm waiting for GMK Coniferous to go on this board then it will become my daily driver for the office. The spacebar is currently switchless as I wait for a ~120g spring to arrive with some other switches and parts for my MechMini. Also the black acrylic sandwich piece arrived cracked so a replacement is on its way. I've had a quick mess with BootLoader to program the PS2AVRGB, seems really simple to use, the default layer works well with a couple of tweaks, I've programmed RGB lighting control and volume controls to the right column - that'll make more sense when I have blank GMK caps in place. Otherwise I think the 75% layout is perfect for a daily board and for the price, the ALU84 is really good.

Just finished it. Gateron Black with FaceW PCB, LaserGist plate, Royal Glam case, DSA keycaps. Couldn't be more excited to have it finished.

Can you share the dimensions of your LaserGidt plate?  Thickness and all. It fits so flush with this beautiful case

these keys are flat so your transition between keys is... smoother, I think.
