I can't believe that Filco is not gone yet! Someone should buy it already

It's sitting all sad in a box. I visit it periodically and tell it how pretty it is so it feels a bit better. But today it told me it couldn't take it anymore--and wrote me a letter to prove it:

"Dear Photoelectric,

I am desperately lonely and miss the feel of being useful, the cheerful tapping of someone's fingers on my keycaps. I am a single attractive keyboard and would like to find a match before I grow old and weary and sag into my box.

So you see my predicament. I have a depressed keyboard on my hands and need to rescue it!

Do you know if those mixed filco keycaps wear off like the QFR caps do? Never used Filco caps for very long so I've never seen it happen.

I'm not sure--I've never used them long enough to see them wear off, but the printing seems pretty sturdy. The original black set was well used and had a fair amount of shine on the spacebar and some alphas, but all of the lettering looked perfect. The caps I have left now in that photo are almost like new, particularly the white caps, as they were barely used (taken off my pink Filco and replaced with thin PBT).
