Post by: june213 on Wed, 27 November 2019, 04:30:17

No.

As long as your keycap set has a Shift key, you will be set!  :thumb:

I do prefer playing on keeb rather than on gamepad (I don't have an arcade stick). It feels like I have more control of movement especially in combos.

I tested it out with KoF'98 last night. Wasn't too bad. I was able to move directions a lot faster than I thought. Need to find a comfortable spot for moves, though. I was using UIOJKL and it was pretty uncomfortable after a while.
I also tried doing the space bar as up since that's what Hitbox does, but I switched to ESDF.

Huh, I've never even thought about using spacebar. As for the moves, I also stick to UIOJKL, takes some time to get used to. When I was a kid and was playing with my friend on single keyboard we were usually playing WASD/UIOJKL and Arrows/2 Numpad rows. It weren't too bad. But playing alone I agree it might be too uncomfortable and too tight to use UIOJKL. So you might want to try it out, if you have one of course.
