I was going to make a fort out of my BS keyboards, but completely ran out of time.  Still haven't caught up.

But this one is easy ... here are separate pictures of each of my Alps computer keyboards:
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

It's not a computer keyboard, but does look like an Alps keyboard:

113081-0

Green Alps?

113083-1

113085-2

It has a CODE key :p

113087-3

And a windowed Caps Lock:

113089-4

It also has chopped Alps on a couple of function key rows:

113091-5

And XXX:

Rarar-yes! Post it up!

Nick-very nice! I've been to Matias twice now and they are two very cool guys! They also make awesome stuff!

Jerue-MOOOOO! Seriously, I love orange omrons! I have a bag of them just waiting for me to create a custom 60% plate. I hate that they aren't quite alps shape and not quite mx shape. I should look for a dismantled board like the one you posted, could cut that up into the perfect plate! Ps-hope your prize gets to you this week :)

Rowdy-that looks cool! Is that a typewriter with linear green alps? #code baby! I also love baby caps like that has. I actually joked around with Matias to make a full 60% with half caps. Same length but half width lolol. Once again, +1 for Matias!

And for everyone else! Sorry about my lack of posting. Still no proper computer and tapatalk broke on me. I'm lagging just to type on my iPhone browser! Also, this contest will probably run till Halloween!

i have almost all the parts i need for my alps 60!!! just waiting on my plate prototype to arrive; as long as everything lines up right i will have it finished this weekend or early next week! gosh dannnnnng!

i think i'll do a linear board first using the switches from this bad boy. dont tell the DT nerds because they'll have a conniption fit at me desoldering this (frankly useless) board.

Yes, it is!  My other half's mother had it, and she was going to throw it out.  I pulled a keycap to see what was underneath and decided to keep it.

As far as I know it still works, although I'd need to put batteries and actual paper in it to see.

Also my hands are cold today and I cannot type properly.

And congratulations to nickheller :D
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Hello, my name is Ghostjuggernaut. This is my first time in the Church. I have come to seek penance for my sins.

Tonight at work, I ate 3 mini cupcakes. They were delicious.

Bonjour! I am glad you ate the cupcakes, for I am not eating sweets right now, so I like to hear the joy of others enjoying the sweets!

I've ate 2 more now. Good thing I'm about to leave, or the remaining sudden or so would be very tempting.

I'm also trying to avoid sweets, you can see it's not working well.
