CST L-Trac Not Working With KVM Switch?
« on: Tue, 11 February 2014, 00:18:12 »
Hey friends,

I recently picked up a new KVM switch due to my frustration with a crappy USB ioGear switch. As crappy as it was, it at least worked with my L-Trac. Now I am attempting to use an ATEN CS84U switch, and it seems like my L-Trac is not getting enough power to operate correctly. I have attached a 5VDC wall wart to the switch, as I assumed this would be what is needed to power the L-Trac correctly. WRONGO.

Any ideas that don't involve a powered USB hub attached to the USB Mouse port?

Cheers.

Well I'll be damned. Mouse emulation was causing it! I disabled that and we're back in business now. :)
