I really like the HHKB. It is just a beautiful board after all. I just prefer when it is blank to be honest. :)

After a lot of thinking, I came to the conclusion that I just don't like artisan keycaps (clacks / bro / whatever). Nothing can beat a niiiice blank keyboard. :P  And that realization is great: saved me tons of dollars. :D That I can put in my Type-S + blank blacks  -_-

Thank you for your input.

I agree blanks are beautiful but I know a special novelty can be the finishing touch to make that perfect keyboard <3

Gives it character and makes them unique :)

don't listen to this vesper guy.  and sure as hell don't look at his pretty pictures, or else you will really want to get some artisan keycaps.

I still miss some Topre classics: HHKB and a RF 10th y anniversary (all 55g :x). I'm in Japan next month. And that particular RF is made in Japan. Sold only in Korea. I'm SO MAD. :D I'm writing to Topre to know if that baby can be located somewhere. :x

Leopold got a batch of 55g 10ths in a week or two ago (which means widebasket has them on ebay as well), still the crazy high price though.

What is the clear bro called?

I don't believe it has a particular name. It was the White translucent cap from the Liberty set.

Yep, just went digging and that model is apparently only made for Leopold. What a shame. The price is stupid too (and I should know, all the boards you can see on my previous post are imported from Korea and are, obviously, from Leopold...) The 10th wasn't in stock last time I ordered AND the Korean website is so horrible I wasn't even sure they still had the 55g.  *sigh* Ah well, I'll get a Type-S to complete the Topre family and that 10y will be a good reason to go on a hunt in Seoul at some point. ;)

Vesper: not even mad. :D  I have  / will have all that BUT the artisans caps. :p  And I can get some nice bro-copy and get banned too. Mmmm good plan. Less temptations.  :p

Cool looking board. The pink and purple go well with each other but I feel like the red trans Fn does not match them well.

I think I'm done putting things on my HHKB.  :-*

Time to focus on my RF87!

Cool, I like that CC. What is his little name?

I wonder if I'll ever get a CC.

Really matches the pastel color of the powder puff quite well I must admit. ;) Good job on this acquisition! Did you get it from the man itself or from classified?

That splatter cap and the blue Fn look sick. Also I think this is the first picture with a Beat Down Bro on a board.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

I think doom had a pic of his on a board. The splatter is an american themed color. RWB

Cool looking board. The pink and purple go well with each other but I feel like the red trans Fn does not match them well.

Trans red fn is an eyesore there. Fix it. Thanks. :P

haha yeah it doesn't really match this setup, but i love that cap. :)
a cute stray cat combination that comes out happily when you look at your face is cute

I can offer to accept the onerous burden of ownership of the trans red Fn should you wish to relieve yourself of it.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

HOLY ****. MY EFFIN' G, YO.

Okay... so you win the HHKB of the year... I was wondering when you'll bring those blue mods back... you brought it back in the most perfect way possible. I can easily say this is my favorite HHKB of the year, and also one of my favorites ever... WOW. Truly one of a kind, dood... Now I really want to try something special with some mods... Man... that is so good... you have me regretting not buying a Pink blank set before they sold out... to think I didn't buy that set voluntarily... SMH.

That last photo is so much damn love... my god... <3<3<3
