@rowdy: Yeah, I like color symmetry for the mods, so I use dark keys all the way up on both sides. I've got the RF mapped like a HHKB, so the Backspace is actually my Backslash, and the Backslash is my Backspace.

Type-S comes silenced from the factory, so it is a bit quieter.

Type-S is silent. :P Has pads to quiet the upstroke.  And possibly slightly modified domes, but I can't recall if that's the case or not.
