I hope you never have to

eugh

is nyc full of these?

they are everywhere, especially in densely populated areas, note the increase in recent advertisements (rosco the bedbug dog) and cleaning products. There have been reports of bed bug outbreaks recently around my town and its made me think twice before staying in local hotels or visiting movie theaters. The problem with new york is the lack of urban sprawl and over population. A common belief is someone has to be very dirty/hoarder/unkempt when in reality these little buggers can be picked up anywhere, fall into your mechboards and multiply like crazy. Im sorry about your situation dude, fingers crossed it isnt to bad of an infestation.

I played Red Alert 2 for the first time in years and loved it.

Love that game.

Other than that, I finished the fall semester of school and sat around drinking Root Beer.

Those that think it is just an expensive blender just don't understand.  We use ours several times a week for the few years.  Recently been making all of our baby food in it.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Something you probably have never had to worry about (I wish I was in Australia right now), falling on ice. It's been raining pretty bad and  the temperature dropped just enough so it froze, covering everything with a coat of ice. Beers + ice = bad time.

Ive got a picture of the stitches but Im not sure how everyone is with "gore". The worst part about this is no gaming and the whole typing at 10 WPM

I went to work for a half day this morning. Got the rest of the day off as a holiday. Then I went up to the local community college which is also a prometric testing center to take the first of three exams for the MCSD certification. I went in and told the receptionist what I was there for and she proceeded to call the proctor. The receptionist then handed me the phone and the proctor informed she was at home across the bay an hour away and wasn't going to make it. So, that was a bust. I went home where I anxiously awaited the package I had overnighted... and waited...and waited and now its 9:00 pm so I'm pretty sure it isn't coming. It was nothing geekerific (just some new sharpening stones), but I was anxious to use them. Also, I installed COD 4 which I've never played (can you tell I'm not much of a gamer) and played for a few hours. Now I'm telling you about it.

Broke up with girlfriend (was mutual). Wrote papers. Played battlefield.

Overall, pretty reasonable.

no regrets

Today I had to call USPS concerning a lost shipment. Wouldn't you know, the lady I was on the phone with was able to find the package while I was on hold on the same phone call.

What's wrong with cursing? It's perfectly natural, and it feels great.

Today I sweated.

A lot.

Kind of a weird day today.

So I was on FFXIV and our guild started posting IRL pictures....and now...my friend is trying to hook me up with her daughter who is my age...

Which would normally be a strange position to be in...but she seems really cute and doesn't live crazy far. D:
