About the Function96 v.2:

- Case and PCB are designed all by me (thanks to the Keyboard Atelier Discord)
- Completely Screwless Exterior
- Top/Burger Mount
- Blockers between bottom mods and arrow keys to support non-visual finger navigation (the biggest issue with the 96% layout)
- Added Blockers in the F Row for the same reason.
- Added ISO and Stepped CapsLock Support
- Added Support for 6.25u Spacebar as well as 2.25 - 1.25- 2.75 split space support
- USB-C
- QMK and VIA support
- Added ESD Protection
- Added an Aesthetic cut at the top
- Added engraved JTM Logo on the bottom

- Additional Renders and Details can be found in the Discord under #v2-design-updating

- Update 1: The board is not hotswap, but I am heavily considering offering personal mill-maxing soldering services so that those that are looking for the capability for hotswap aren't left out!
Update 2: ISO and stepped capslock support added! Also trying out a new style of burger mount using the gaskets used on gasket mount boards.

Can you render a picture of the v2 with keycaps so we can have a better feel of how the top blockers look with them?

Got it, it's up at the top! I'm not great at rendering, and I haven't gotten around to learning it, so the blank black keycaps will have to do until I can find someone to render my board haha.

Yep, that's my thoughts exactly. I used the numpad too much when I CAD or work in Excel for me to give it up like everyone says they do with a 60/65%, and I think a macropad is not as elegant.

I've considered it, but I feel like if you wanted a Southpaw, the actual Southpaw or Wyvern board that's in IC kinda covers that niche, yknow?

I'm sure there's interest for this. All those people rocking 100% and can't find a good custom and are stuck with Ducky/Varmillo/IKBC/Leopold.

The recent Hex 6C Southpaw 100% GB sold out 300 units in 34 minutes. They sold their (bigger, more aluminum) board at SGD420, which is around USD310.

Increasing unit count is definitely something I want to do in the future, but I'm limited in the fact that I'm wholly a 1-man operation. I do the design, source the manufacturing, and pack/ship all on my own. I don't think I have the space in my living room to store 100 boards and boxes haha. Maybe once I decide to work with a vendor or one reaches out to me, I can consider really increasing the size of this GB!

I'm liking the addition of the F-row blockers. I would think that little bit of space helps with touch typing when switching between a full size and this 96-key.

Thanks! Yeah, That was my thoughts exactly. I found the blocker helps so much with touch typing on V1 regarding the arrow keys, and that I was still having issues with navigating the F row, so I took inspiration from the TX-CP and blocked those too. Also helps break up the board a bit visually :)

I've definitely considered it, perhaps in some future iteration of the board. I just don't know if I could adapt to southpaw haha
