It's certainly up there, but it's not the record-holder. For example:
GMK Minimal 2: RAMA Black X = 1075
GMK Pono: RAMA Dark Grey = 1398
GMK Sumi: RAMA Torii = 1640

But 1003 is without extras. We'll have to see how it does with extras.

For now, the RAL color codes are :

base kit : 290 30 20 (careful because on screen it looks wayyy lighter than it looks irl on the printed RAL color swatch, so I'll make sure that the final color looks like the render when i'll get samples from gmk !)
R1/ R4 (blue) legends : 270 70 25 knabenblau
R2 legends : 040 60 60 korallenorange
R3 legends : 050 80 30 fahlorange
R4 (yellow) legends : 080 80 60 vollgelb

I'm now waiting for samples to adjust if needed

So glad I joined this!

I need to find a suitable board for this. The color scheme is not like anything I've seen. All the purple kits are either too light (lilac) or barney purple.

Gah, i just found out about this keyset. Missed out on the gb. Hopefully i can grab a set with the extras. How does selling the extras work? Is it like a raffle system or a fcfs basis?

Fcfs, as in-stock item or pre-order, on whichever store bought extras. There’s usually not much pizzazz around the selling of extras, so you have to keep your eyes open around the time the keysets start shipping.

Some of the vendors post updates on their websites and discord servers. If you’re not aware there’s usually not much to report on during keycap production.

Q3 this year? Lol no. They still haven’t shipped Modo light from March 2020, and they’re gonna get all the way to November in the next 3 months? I’d be surprised if this was in end users hands in the USA this year.

Edit: just got the Omni update. Modo light has shipped. GMK Modo 2 which ran last June is now for this November. This won’t even be Q1 2022.

Yeah, they don't seem to be slowing down on taking in orders while everything in the last 12 months keeps getting pushed further and further. Seems like the average wait from a groupbuy close to customer hands is reaching 1.5 years at this point.

1.5 years is really becoming a standart time for GMK, and its only gonna be worse, more sets, more time, worse qc, i have already gave up on seeing this set this year.
From now on only extras and nothing else. I think its ok to wait for a keyboard for 1.5-2 years if its needed, but not for a keycap set. GMK needs to fix their backlog.

I'm sorry for those asking for news here, I'm more present on my instagram account @Bidulomachin and posting updates there, you can find all the updates on the "updates" highlight. Feel also free to DM me there for any request! I'm not very used to post here but I'll try to improve that.

To let you know about how the set is going:

> Samples are validated. Here are the final RAL color codes:

BASE COLOR: 280 30 15
YELLOW: 080 80 60
PINK: 050 80 30
ORANGE: 040 60 60
BLUE: 270 70 25

> I just got GMK's renders for approuval yesterday

I don't have any other infos about when the other vendors will offer their extras, I suggest you to check their websites or ask them directly
