small updates, i've asked Keyreative for quotes on the current base kit, but due to CNY it might be a while before they get back to me. in addition to this, i am working on some potentially large kitting updates, due to a large interest in dedicated (not just physical) 40s support, and a decent interest in Asthan monolegend alphas.

thanks! that would be a project i am currently working on, its basically a tented Reviung, im still ironing out some things with that but considering the interest ive seen in it, it wont be too long before it sees the light of day

This is so exciting! Incredible work, love the 2 2x 2u and 2x 1u space bars! Keyreative has produced good quality recently, imo, so it's very exciting to see this in KAM. I feel like matte fits the set more, even though I do love glossy KAM.

hello hello! sorry this update has taken so long, been busy with some behind-the-scenes stuff. today, i bring a major kitting overhaul, with the following changes:
1. based on major interest in the IC form, i have added an asthan-alpha base kit.
2. i have split out some of the mini bars from the base kits into their own dedicated spacebars kit, which allows for some more bars (2x1.5, 2x1.25) to be added. in addition, because there are fewer keys in the base kit, I have added a 1u shift and 1.75u enter to base.
3. i added non-homing f/j/5. their disinclusion was pretty much oversight on my part, lol
3. i have added the ASTHAN ARTIFACTS kit, complete with several icons in the asthan universe
as always, feedback is always appreciated, please let me know of any thoughts you have on this new kitting!! i have updated the ic form with some questions about the updated kitting, if there is vocal interest in any other updates i will for sure see how i can accomodate.
for those who want to know a bit more on why i made these choices, you can read on:

* i have opted not to include a latin-only alpha base kit because i dont feel it gets the point of "astha" across enough, and the language is one of the main things i would like to push in this set. also, the asthan-only alphas serve a sort of double purpose, in that they are agnostic and quite frankly have little connections to an actual language that they are able to cover international layouts and alternative (dvorak, colemak) layouts.
* while there were some vocal requests for more dedicated support for 40s, i have opted not to split out mods to give for a broader support for 40s simply because of how agnostic the current modifier legends are. the novelties kit should also hopefully add enough agnostic 1u, 1.25, and 1.5u keys to support ortho/more unique layouts. i do really love 40s and daily smolboards, but i hope that the agnostic nature of the legends and colors allow for people to fill up the mods with what they'd like, and with their own color combo at that!

Kitting works well for me. As a smol board user, I did enjoy the dozens of small kits with many kat/kam sets. I would love a seperate alphas kit, so I can fill two boards with one base kit and one alphas kit. But I totally understand it is a pain for everyone else. Most important part are 2u space bars for my Chiffres. Praise be!

I have considered offering at least an inverted modifier kit (reverse dye-sub black on color) but unfortunately it does not seem like there is enough interest in it as of now. i will still consider it as a potential option, but as of now its looking more like the current kits are what will be offered in the end. will still consider tho

I just think the set is kind of limited in the case colors it can be combined with when using so many colors but I could be wrong. What I really want here are the Asthan alphas, and then I can just use those with any other KAM set modifiers I guess.

Also, adding two blank scooped alphas would make homing keys possible for all alternate layouts.

there is a scooped 5 on the numpad, i just completely forgot to label it, lol. the point about blank scooped alphas is really interesting, i will consider adding it to the latin base kit; i dont think it would be too necessary in the asthan base kit (?)
