Shine 2 M edition
« on: Tue, 16 April 2013, 18:25:36 »
Hey the M edition arrived for my GF today.

I was surprised when I took of the space bar to flip it around for her and found the switch for it is a Cherry MX dark grey!

Do all the DK9008s2's that are cherry black come with dark grey space bar switch or just the M edition?

My DK9087s2 has a cherry black spacebar. I'm kind of jealous she got a dark grey space bar!  :p]

This should be mentioned on your site if its unique to the m edition!

I'm surprised the DK9087s do not have heavier switches for the spacebars. Except for the Zeros, Ducky Blues have Green switch spacebars, etc.

Another thing that both me and my girlfriend have noticed just now.

When you put them next to eachother, my DK9087s White LED has a slight lavender tint. Her DK9008s white LED is mat white.

We both like the look of the lavender tint on mine better. So I guess if I get to be jealous of her dark grey MX space bar, she can be jealous of my tinted LEDs!  ;D

Interesting...

I'm not sure why the discrepancy in switch or LED.  I wish we had some White LED Shines left to check lol.

I started a thread under keyboards section to get some feedback on the different colour LED's.

Looks like it might just be a thing with different batches of LEDs.

I personally really enjoy the tint.

Will be picking up a keycool 84 off of you guys in the near future.  :)
