Hey everyone. Today, I've got a fun set to share.

I call it, GMK Plum.

This is a very unique set (as far as I'm aware!) and one I'm very proud of. The colours are calm, cool and original, ones you've likely never seen on a set before.

It will be in standard Cherry/GMK profile (1-1-2-3-4-4), made with original Cherry legends and thickness. You know the drill by now, I'm sure.

This set will be produced to the best of my ability. I don't have the ability to say "I'm going to make this happen, regardless" but I'm going to do my best to make it happen, because I really want it to come to life.

To address some common questions I'm sure to get:

Yes, the alphas and modifiers are custom colours. (The red keys are not custom, but I don't think RO1 has been used on a set before.)

Yes, I have done the best I can do offer complete support to all common layouts.   
As is, this keyset will support: Standard ANSI, ISO (sorry non-English speakers :/), 1800, WKL, HHKB, FC660M, standard 75%, includes both scoops and barred homing keys, as well as some other oddball layouts.

Yes, this idea is original. I did not draw inspiration from any other sets. I literally had a picture of a plum www.mvfruit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Angelino_plum_03.jpg for my inspiration.

No, I will not be handling the group buy myself. I simply don't have the time or resources to handle this it myself. 

Based on the results of the poll I had live for multiple weeks, I will be running GMK Plum on Massdrop. ~75% of people wanted Massdrop, while only 25% of people wanted Originative. That's just an easy decision for me to make.

I usually am not very fond of colorful f-row, but in this case I think the red f5/f6/f7/f8 will look great. IMO you should also add red Print Screen, Scroll Lock and Pause for symmetry.

I considered it, but I don't want to overdo the red. The line between subtle and gaudy is a fine one

Thanks for the full ISO-UK coverage and 1800! I am in! Is it possible to add a couple 1u Ctrl/Alt keys to help with the slightly more unconventional layouts like 65/75% layouts and the newer style 1800 ones with 1u modifier row? I know there are a couple of R4 1u grey blanks in the render, but legended 1u ones would be even better!

An european proxy is really necessary, unless we want to pay 40% of taxes. Maybe gmk can divide the order in two?

I refuse to have any Ctrl on my set. I don't like how it looks. I wouldn't count on 1.25u blanks, though. I'm happy with where the set is now. My next set, should it ever happen, I will definitely change this.

Unfortunately, the MOQ is 250 :/ That's just the way GMK is with custom colours. Nothing I can do there.

I won't discuss pricing publicly yet since I haven't picked a vendor, but pricing wise, it's very reasonable for what you're getting. When the GB goes live, you'll probably be shocked at how low it is, actually.
