Title: Keytronic KT800P2 10-Pack
Post by: SamirD on Wed, 01 November 2017, 21:38:23
I found these in the CDW outlet once before and the price dropped to the point it was about $2-3 per keyboard--not bad for a bunch of upgrades for users of mushy junk or even as a solid upgrade on the cheap.

There's two in the outlet right now and the price is high right now, but I expect it to drop to <$50 before they pull it from the outlet.  Keep an eye on them and you just may get a great deal!

These are very good-quality RD boards, and very much worth $10 each NIB.

And I guess it'd be a good idea to buy 10 at once, since they're, you know, RDs. (LOL, sorry, couldn't resist.)

Oh, the deals haven't even started on these yet--the last 10 pack I saw went down to something like $45.99 before it was pulled/bought.

The first link is already down to $84.99, so only $8.50/ea + shipping.  Or no shipping if you're in the Chicago area and can pick it up.  :thumb:

Down to 55.99 and 68.99--that's less than $7 a keyboard.  Even if you factor in shipping at $30, these still come out to $10 shipped, and if you're local you should be able to just pick it up.

It'd be great having a whole raft of these. You could type on one for a couple of weeks till it started feeling mushy, then just throw it in the recycling bin and open another... Fresh-feeling RDs all the time!  :?D

Or you could secretly swap people's terrible domes for these and then tell them if they think that's an improvement, they should try a mechanical keyboard.  ;)

So I've seen more of these pop up.  CDW drops prices in the outlet every Tues/Weds and the last set of these I saw dropped to somewhere in the 20s before it either got pulled or someone bought it.  This particular set is not only a keyboard, but also a mouse x10:

At <$4 for a keyboard and mouse, it's already a good deal, but I think it will drop one more time.  Be the hero at work or your small office or your family affair for <$4 per person. :D

At CDW, you can expand a board's description to see its "Key Attributes":

I love unintentional stuff like that.

Could always buy 365, use the rubbers to make a tire and call it a good year  :))

Get it, though? Key Attributes? And it's a keyboard?

I can just imagine some keeb geek seeing that and thinking it explained what the keys were made of, how they were printed, etc. But no.

You have a strange mind, dude! I mean that as a compliment.
