Those are for the bottoms.  "Choose bottom colour as well".  It's a 2-part case: top + bottom.

So these are basically lightsaver 2.0? How do they compare?

They look incredibly nice regardless o.o

Oh boy, I am really tempted to pull the trigger on this one, but 400$ plus international shipping plus import taxes is tough.

But just like the Lightsaver this board only comes in the angled version right? I prefer to use my keyboards flat on the table...

It's a normal layout 80% TKL, whereas the Lightsaver had much more flexibility in layout options.

Yeah, it's 11 degrees slanted.  Well, you can use the top part of the case and make yourself a flat acrylic bottom like in their pictures without the stand.  You'd have to buy the whole set though which would be a waste of money..

Also, if there are more than 15 sets ordered, price will drop to $385.

Will there eventually be a group buy for the 60% keyboards that are from this same family?

Also, on topic, this is beautiful and quite tempting...

To be honest the 60%s are more appealing to me, but given the opportunity I'll probably pick up both.

If a Viper buy materializes, I'll have to jump in in that.

I was actually worried about the 11-degree angle, as I love the flat profile of a Filco without its feet extended, but in practice it turned out to be a pleasant angle, and I have no issues with it.  At least for the Lightsaver, the front of the case is quite low--this one might be better with a wrist rest.

Definitely want the acrylic piece! As well, this is just barebones, so I'm assuming no LED customization apart from the base red?

So 11 degrees is lower than a Filco with extended feet? Maybe I can live with it too  ;D

No it's almost exactly the tilt of Filco with extended feet.  I just meant that I worried it would be uncomfortable with the Lightsaver, but it's actually fine.  I've also adjusted my chair for better posture and it's taller now, so that made it less important what angle my keyboard is at too.

100 MOQ for a 60% board is hard to reach I guess. A lot of people have multiple 60% boards now. Anyway, thanks for the info. What is "the other thread"?

Do you have a rough estimate of when production and shipping will happen? I may have to eventually change my shipping address based on when the boards are ready.

Thanks for any help  :)

The deadline should correspond to the finished product of Orion. Give or take a week or 2 for them to pack and ship them.
