Reviving a Kinesis Classic

I picked up a Kinesis Classic from office cleanup. When I plug it into a PS/2 port or use a PS/2 to USB adapter to plug it into a USB port, it does not register any keystrokes. However, it does not seem completely dead. When I plug it in and press caps lock, it beeps. Is there any chance to revive this keyboard?
