Customer hasn't pay off related fees. We will follow up.

Sorry about that. Beacause of lag of SF-Express and time difference, I didn't pay for shipping fee on time. But I have paid for it now, you can check your ship information later.

@SuperVan, can you do get on the horn and make sure all of your shipments are now on their way? I suspect shipping payment just updates a database column update and their "follow up" procedure is some guy going through a printed list once a day making phone calls like: "Hello....Oh, you already paid? Let me check. Oh you did. Great. I'll now push this big button and shipment will now be on their way."

Looks like my suspicions may be wrong. Just got this update:
Quote
Shipment loaded at 【Beijing Tongzhou Distribution Center 】, prepare to send to 【Dongguan Shatian Distribution Center】
I just hope it's moving forward and not backward. :fingers-crossed:

I wonder if this means MDs patent didn’t get approved. That’s the only way I see this making sense unless IC and MD are friends again (unlikely).

I doubt MD could patent the switches, its more likely there was an exclusive contract for the tooling, moulds and with Kai-hua. The exclusive contract may have expired.

Another possibility is MD and IC reached an agreement to purchase Halos from MD, though that is less likely.

This has nothing to do with patents as far as I know. It was a contractual agreement between IC and MD that the switches developed by IC and financed by MD would be owned by MD.

That said,  I think this link is an error. You can't find any mention of these switches on the Kono website.

Someone in a qq group. I’ve not verified but I’m trying to. Just a messenger here, don’t get agitated.

And I don’t think this is anything urgent, I’ve already got over 500 halo switches from massdrop and most people who need the halos already bought them. If anyone intends to buy from Kono, feel free to directly confirm with Kono about availability

I’m more interested in what’s going on than buying more halos.

I'll bet my left nut, literally, that it is not 10 packs of 10 switches for 30 bucks. I will cut it off and mail it to you, no joke. Just look at their 36 switch offerings for their hakos. That would mean 36 packs of 36 switches for whatever they're selling them for.

The common sense goes both ways though. $3/switch is getting close to pre-crash Panda prices. Nobody is going to pay that for a switch that comes up regularly for $.50 on MD.

Good point, I won't argue that. I think what might be the case is that kono has priced it as such so that people don't add it to their cart. Kind of like when you price something at $999999 because the page is a placeholder for when a product is ready. I'm more inclined to think this may be the case and that kono isn't actually selling halos because you can't find it on their switch page unless you have that specific url or use their search bar to search halo.

I think just some misunderstanding. They meant "switches" instead of "packs". So $17.99 for 36 "packs" actually meant $17.99 for 36 "switches" which comes out to $0.5/switch.

Halo now selling for 0.3 per pcs on Kono store ....

Dang it

Are you talking about the Hako Trues?

Kono does not (and cannot) sell Halo Trues.

Hako and Halo are completely different switches.

https://kono.store/products/halo-true-mechanical-keyboard-switches

Isn’t that $3 per switch? $29.99 for a 10 pack.

Looks like Kono updates the listing to clarify its 10 switches. No go then

It takes a couple of days to see movement once you receive your tracking number. Just wait a couple more days, it shouldn't take more than a week till you see movement.
