Hi,

I did a search within Geekhack for QPAD and nothing was found, so am starting this new thread.

I have a QPAD MK85 (with Cherry reds) and the Num Lock is very bright.

I had a look in there and saw and measured a 470 Ω surface mount resistor in series with the LED.

Questions:

• Can you suggest a suitable value to cut that brightness right down?
• Will cutting the current taken out from (what I presume is) the +5 Volt supply at that point have any adverse effect on anything in there.

Thanks.
