[IC]Cherry G80-1800
« on: Tue, 03 November 2015, 05:33:43 »
Is anyone interested in mechanical Cherry 1800 keyboards? They come in black or beige, and their model numbers are G80-1800LPCEU-2/G80-1800LPCEU-0 respectively.

The keyboards come with black switches and laser-etched keycaps, I think they might be POM, but I'm not sure.

The price is $100 per keyboard, but depending on the quantity of the final order, it should be cheaper.

You're going to need a whole lot more information before running an IC, much less an actual Group Buy.

I would really love a couple of G80-1800 winkey, but didn't know they were easy to get your hands on. I guess I need to research that some more. I wonder if they have a nordic version I can get my dad.

Used ISO DE ones are cheap as fuark, black ps2 are 3€+shipping, grey usb are 5€+shipping.
Shouldnt be too hard to find some equally cheap MY with nordic legends to replace the alphas with.

I'd jump on a beige model, been looking to get one of these, let alone at a reasonable price and I'm sure I'm not alone on this.

Wow € 3 for a keyboard, let alone a mechanical one. Too bad it's an ISO layout, I'd love to get one with a US layout with MX brown switches. But that is just impossible to find. For a few a bucks it might be worth the effort to try to convert it though. Good to know I'm not alone in my interest for this model, I opened a poll on massdrop just a few days ago. One response so far... from me ;D.

Hast du auf cumb.de schonmal bestellt?
Ich kann da nämlich nichts in den Warenkorb legen und die Anmeldung funktioniert auch nicht.

Ordered before their website crashed, guess the errors you're facing will be fixed in time. For now, simply use the contact form or give them a call.

I wouldn't mind a couple either, I'll try to watch the site to catch it when it gets back up. Apparently they have quite a bit of stock.
