Mine is Bayonetta, she is calm and seems like perfect sexy fighting character. The insane combos game with the guns blazing and lightning fast kicks and she has a lot of grace movements.

Every Xbox games have 1000 points to offer and everybody knows it is very hard to completed. but Bayonetta is only one which I spent times to got all the achievments.

Sephiroth for sure. He had an excellent character design from top to bottom. His sword was also one of my favorites from the Final Fantasy series. His story and motivation were perfect for the icy appearance he had. The music he was given for the games was also gorgeous. Having been bred with alien DNA is also a huge awesome feature of his.

This might be due to some nostalgia, but one of my favorite video game characters is Alvin H. Davenport from Ace Combat 5. Callsign "Chopper", probably because he always talked during missions & was the one who brought humor to the game.

Hmm... Not sure if it's because I love the Naughty Dog franchise or the character himself, but I'll go with Crash Bandicoot.
The reason is Crash is what got me hooked on video games. The PlayStation was the first console I purchased with my own money (after years of saving up allowances), and at the time I was researching between the Saturn or PS. Then I went to a friend's house and he had a demo disc with Crash 2 on it. We played it for hours--the same level. That's when I decided I'd go with Sony's console.
Got Crash 2 the day I bought the console, but didn't even know I needed a memory card. So, while saving up allowance money for that, I would play the game as high as I can get without saving. Never did 100% it, but I did fully complete Crash 3 and CTR--to date the only games I've beaten with everything obtained.

Eventually I rented games and became hooked on Final Fantasy as well (FFX is my all-time favorite game, btw, in case anyone cares).

Since then, I've gotten all of Sony's consoles save for the PS4, but if we ever get a new Crash by Naughty Dog you bet your buttons I'm getting one.

Manny Calavera from Grim Fandango.

Manny, while constantly being drole and sarcastic, truly changes over the course of the game. Whereas he starts as a competitive, self-involved travel agent for the underworld, he becomes sympathetic to the needs and feelings of others later on.

Link. He was one of the first real video game characters I fell in love with. I grew up in the 90s and when I got an N64 it just blew my mind. Playing Ocarina of Time for hours and hours has stuck with me to this day. Thanks for the giveaway!

I'm a big fan of John Marston from Red Dead Redemption. The guy was only trying to finish his last job so he could live a quiet life with his family, and helped a lot of people along the way (while being a badass). I haven't played too many video games in my life but that story spoke to me more than some famous novels.

She had a tragic beginning and is trying to do what she believes to be the right thing. Sure, she killed everyone but I don't think she's evil, just misunderstood. I also love how passive-aggressive she is. But my main reason for choosing her is that she's a robot and I love robots.

Favorite game of all time right there. I was thinking about Poo, but I don't know... gonna have to give it to Ness. Little kid has to save the world and he doesn't even complain about it - just grabs a baseball from his room and goes out there.

Little dude even gets homesick when he hasn't called his mom in awhile.

Well there are so many, its pretty difficult to pick one.

But I would have to pick Ryu from the Streetfighter franchise.

Recognizable by nearly anyone remotely interested in video games and even by many outside of the platform. He is very iconic.
Humble warrior, that exudes simplicity but is a fierce competitor in every game of which he is included. And thats no joke, most
games thats he's included, he'll be very close to top tier, or at least can take on the top 3, which is saying something.

His lore always revolves around the righteous path, and the hunger to better himself, which I think everyone can relate to/be inspired by.

Ryu is a solid choice for one of my favorite characters across all genres.

Decapre

First seen in a game I barley played (Street Fighter Alpha 3) along with a few other "doll clones". From Russia and its highly likely she is the most hated character of any fighting game. Her fighting style is very mobile with lots of teleports into either fake (back to the same place), into a divekick or into a splash that launches the opponent into the air

Ratchet from Ratchet and Clank (I would actually pick both if possible). I just put so much time in the series and the later games that had sad scenes (and a cliffhanger that ****ed me up bad) really hit me so I'm really attached to them now. It's just such a lovable charakter with such a sad past that you slowly find out about during the series, for me it's kind of like that the series grew up with me. If I was younger when playing the newer titles I would have missed so much story, but it felt like I was always just old enough to understand. It's a great feeling no other series or characters could replicate.

My favorite is Wario. He has so much personality in his character. Wario is the fat, grouchy, sleazy lowbrow Italian plumber you’re forced to hire to fix your pipes when pudgy, polite, lovably working-class Mario isn’t around. Wario swallows smelly cloves of garlic whereas Mario opts for relatively benign mushrooms. Wario is a greedy treasure thief whereas selfless Mario only collects coins when they point him in the right direction. Wario bashes through environments and enemies with his invulnerable body whereas Mario nimbly jumps over foes or bops them on the head.

i think my favorite game character is probably Veliaf Hurtz from old school runescape. he leads a group of sort of religious visionaries against a vampire/ tries to purify the tainted lands. He isn't dynamic really just as the game doesn't exist in a super dynamic way, but he always stuck in my head for some reason. runescape (old school) is also my favorite game of all time!

Lanaya, the Templar Assassin from DotA2, why?
Because she simply fits my playstyle - skill requiring hard carry with aggressive playstyle. If a good player, unmatched in 1v1 situations. Her ability to block small instances of damage of any type and value is incredible, it's the most unique ability in the game in my opinion. Now about her personality, the way she talks, the way she reacts to what's happening around - it simply makes me feel perfect. When i play her i feel like i'm gonna dominate my game, i'm not getting this feeling with any other hero in the game. She simply gives me chills when i play her. When i started DotA2 i was looking for my "perfect" hero, the hero that fits my preferences the most and it didn't took me long to find her, around now i'm having more than 500 games played with her and i'm not gonna stop on that.

Favorite video game character is Booker Dewitt from Bioshock Infinite. The guy is a complete badass. The whole video-game is absolutely amazing and really makes you think about everything. If you have not played this game I would HIGHLY recommend it.

Man. This is a tough one, but I've gotta go with Link. Link is just such an iconic and influential character. I grew up loving the Legend of Zelda games, and Link is also my favorite character to play as in Super Smash Bros. Although it was certainly tough to pick my absolute favorite video game character, I think that Link certainly deserves my top spot.

Just finished playing through that the other day. Really was a great game. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

As for my favorite character, I'm going with Dr. Light from Mega Man. This is in no small part due to the absolutely awesome works of the band The Protomen. If you are a Mega Man fan, or a video game fan at all honestly, and enjoy quirky hard-rock/metal, you absolutely need to check them out. They write original concept albums based on the Mega Man series, and the **** they write is so good my friends and I all just pretend it's canon. Here's their first album, which is about the backstory of Dr. Wiley, Dr. Light and Proto Man. It's fantastic.

Bonus: They also do the best Queen covers you'll ever hear, hands down. This entire album was recorded live, and it still blows my mind. Saw them when they toured for this and it's one of the best shows of my life.

Magical peg leg? That's right. With it, you could create a magical portal to another dimension...

... a dimension with HORDES of livestock would swarm and try to kill you. How? They yielded huge poleaxes, of course.

On top of that, these bovine held, somewhere on their person, loot and treasures beyond belief.

In summary, Wart and his silly leg was a major part of my young teenage years.

My favorite video game character has to be Kyle Katarn from Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. I had so much fun playing through that game as Kyle that I began to mod the game to get more longevity out of it. Kyle's character put me on the career path I am on today as a software engineer. I wouldn't have met so many amazing people in my life if it weren't for me playing through his amazing story, and of course admiring the superb gameplay alongside of it.

I found playing through The Witcher series I really started to care how the characters would react to my choices. Mostly Triss, because, well, she's awesome! Who wouldn't love a strong, intelligent, and hot, mage!

When a game gives you the option to be a complete bastard then pulls in characters that inspire you not to be, that's just a massive reason why computer games are so awesome!

Characters like Triss and games like the Witcher really bring home how important good writing is in games, I hope this never changes. Nothing like actually getting emotionally invested in a story and a character.

Also you get to bang her and that's pretty cool

Mallow from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Mallow grows up thinking that he is a chubby albino tadpole, but after joining Mario on a quest to save the world, he discovers that he is a cloud-prince with psychic and telepathic powers. He grows as a character from an incompetent wimp into a powerful, boisterous wimp whose self-deprecation becomes more of a joke and less an admission of weakness as time goes on. He may look soft and puffy,--and he largely is-- but he is also an irreplaceable ally for Mario in his quest to find the seven star pieces in this classic game.

If you haven't played SMRPG before, I can't recommend it highly enough if you're into snes-era RPGs. It's one of the best.

Probably, Red... Actually. From the early Pokemon games. I remember playing that as a 5 or 6 year old kid at the time and I'm sure everyone here has played a pokemon game during some point in their life. The formula is extraordinarily addicting and wide-ranging to it's diverse fanbase. But it does do a good job of subtly presenting a admirable story of self-belief, determination, and the importance of putting forth maximum effort in your passion. Yeah, you wanted level 100 pokemon and to get all the badges. I also found myself caring for a character for probably the first time in my life. I think that is the first time I cared for something unreal, other than my imaginary friend

Spent a LONG AF time on this >.<...

The Prince of Persia! The character has had multiple revisions and all of them are enjoyable, and hes even a retro character. I just want to see more of this character period. While Warrior Within was my first exposure to the series I've found myself coming back after every other installment. He can be a total badass in Warrior Within yet very sincere and well minded in Sands of Time.
So why Warrior Within version?
It's the the best package with some metroidvania (still some is linear though), tons of secrets/collectables, great level design, multiple endings, the relentless Dahaka, the best combat in series IMO, tons of weapons, puzzles, a much longer campaign in general, etc. This is also where we first see his more modern outfit later worn in other releases/the film which I think says a lot. (Also, the prince is still very much the prince, just being hunted tirelessly

)

My favorite character is probably Altair from the Assassin's Creed series.
He was someone who was entirely committed to his ideas and always questioned whether he was doing the right thing, repented when he made errors, and learned the error of what too much pride can lead to. Fiery and dangerous, yet bridled and looking towards the future. He's the kind of person I wish our leaders were like.

Also the aspect of playing with awesome friends in a rather serious team & tactic based game, maintaining focus at all times while still joking around and generally just having fun and a great time playing the game.

Kirby! I've been a fan of him since I got my original gameboy. I fell even more in love with him once he was in smash. He's annoying, eats a lot, but is adorable and is pretty much OP. Also, his transformations. So numerous. I love that he can do anything (Maybe not as well as I hoped) and still carry on so carefree and insulated from the world around him.

This was our first game on the Gameboy Advance that we receive at Christmas.

This is the intro and a gamefootage of the first level:

The music is quite not pleasant, as a kid, i loved the game, had a blast, would play day / night, dad would hide the gameboy, because i would play to much of it and not let other play with it. As you can see its a mix of some mario and other platform based on Mickey theme.

It just bring back a lot of good memories, even if time passes.

Dart, from legend of dragoon. When we start the game we know almost nothing about him but by the end of it, we're so driven to see his story complete. The depth of the character was amazing for a game from the original Playstation. His compassion throughout the story is why he's my favorite, he keeps fighting not for revenge but to save those around him. I won't go more into due to spoilers and I'd rather people still play it to see how good of a game it is even now.

okosan from hatoful boyfriend takes the cake for me. he's zany, he's crazy, he loves pudding. he runs track and he's the only character in the game that doesn't have a human counterpart when you choose to view the option showing the pigeons' anime personas. he's the only bird in the game that's truly a bird and the only bird in the game that coos like a bird for every line of text. he's the only bird in the game that has to be translated, because he represents the true premise of hatoful boyfriend - a pigeon dating simulator.

If I had to pick one favorite video game character, it would definitely have to be Claptrap from the Borderlands series. My friends & I played co-op for what must have been hundreds of hours together through the first two games. He was definitely a unique character, with all his funny/crazing sayings and behaviors. He brought a lot of fun to the game, even though you couldn't play him (not sure how you would even if you could?). Based on the fact I have so many memories playing the game for hours at night when we'd all get home from work and just playing together, he's my favorite video game character. We all loved him too, which helps

My favourite video game character is Kratos from the God of War series. He's a great "anti-hero" with an engaging backstory (even if a bit sad and depressing at times), the voice actor does a phenomenal job imo and the games are some of the best hack n' slash titles I've ever played. And the Kratos appearances/costumes/design look freaking good in my opinion.

Oh and funny fact. The artisan name (Tank) is the same name of a well known Left 4 Dead / Left 4 Dead 2 character (the Tank is a zombie, a special infected that you can play with or against). Left 4 Dead 2 is the best zombie FPS that you can play on Steam with a couple friends. It's a very funny and fast paced game.

Bumbling through his errands, he always manages to get out of situations that would otherwise leave a lesser pirate stranded and at the behest of an evil ghost pirate.
