Q. Why are the shipping prices so high just for a small kit?
A1. mykeyboard.eu uses tracked DPD shipping service.
Its not possible for them to send it untracked, because the risk involved. I know they are working on getting better shipping deals.
A2. I really dont want you Gents & Ladies to have a hard time getting in on the kits.
So.. Just maybe i will take in some orders and distribute untracked from Denmark. mykeyboard.eu and myself will then not have a responsibility for lost packages.

It seems Mykeyboard.EU does not allow the input of non-EU addresses. Will there be an NA proxy, or will MyKeyboardEU open orders internationally outside of EU?

With 60€ keycaps, 23€ shipping is quite substantial, especially since the package probably isn't that big. With the full base set from Massdrop, cross-Atlantic shipping is under $7.
Its a little different with shipping quotes. mykeyboard.eu is not a full on commercial vendor like massdrop and can negotiate so good shipping prices. Check the update, there might be a different solution :thumb:

I included both of the Alt Gr, 1.25u n 1.5u in the WoB kit because massdrop`s WoB its properly the most preferred place to pick up a WoB set.

In the IC i worked with the idea. But after some feedback i "discontinued" FR/BL AZERTY, It`s simply to many keys combined with the NORDEUK. The FR/BL AZERTY keys would need its own kit. :(

I'm probably going to join in with the WOB, but I wasn't prepared for such high shipping fees on mykeyboard.eu.
With 60€ keycaps, 23€ shipping is quite substantial, especially since the package probably isn't that big. With the full base set from Massdrop, cross-Atlantic shipping is under $7.
Its a little different with shipping quotes. mykeyboard.eu is not a full on commercial vendor like massdrop and can negotiate so good shipping prices. Check the update, there might be a different solution :thumb:
Perhaps so, but shipping for a full-sized keyboard from them would cost 19€. It doesn't make much sense that a small batch of keycaps is more expensive to ship.
The baffling shipping costs won't prevent me from joining, but the hobby is expensive enough as is. No need for vendors to extort money on shipping costs.

Hi. I want to clear this up a bit.
Our shipping prices are a fixed prices per country. We make no profit on shipping. Even more we actually don't put the full cost from our partners on our customers when ordering regular products like keyboards. With groupbuys like this we have an absolute minimal profit. The profit on this set is 0,61 EUR vat exclusive. In this case we cant take a part of the shipping cost on us or we simply are losing money on the project. So we either have to make the kit more expensive or be clear about just setting the shipping price at the actual cost.
For products we stock under a certain value we can ship untracked at a better deal but we cant risk losing a single package with groupbuys with minimal profit.
However, we are working on a new contract with DHL. (currently working with DPD as our main shipping partner) I will do my best to close this deal next week. It will result in better shipping prices. You can wait for this change if you like. People who signed up before will have their shipping cost partially refunded depending on the country.

I know we are all hungry for our NORDEUK kits. :cool:
We must have some patience my mates, I will do what i can to get these kits to production.
I haven't synced properly yet with our main vendor, but prior to last weeks small update.
Thoughts are going into how we can get this into production even tough we are little short in the tail towards MOQ.
GB is still ON, It will be until end next week most likely... Until i have the latest info on whats possible. :)

25-30 bow kits have been picked up.
I know that it was a extra chance to launch BoW next to WoB.
I am still confident something good will come out of the BoW kit. ( And maybe, just maybe.. There is a backup up plan. Soon the keebgods will reveal.. )

I am still waiting to hear news back from mykeyboard.eu. They are handling multiples GB's and are coordinating with GMK.
I cant confirm anything yet as i haven't heard back, i am crossing fingers on the kits will get made along side GMK Minimal :)

You are right. There are Pre-orders available. There are gonna be a few extra kits available.
The GB period was extended 3-4 weeks bc the BoW kit was fighting to hit MOQ.
This was a special GB. A rare one. And it succeeded :cool:
If you have any order inquiries or are insecure about your order. You are free to cancel your order anytime.

I mean, I can fairly say we almost didn't make the cut.
This kind of kit is the second hardest kit to be made in GMK land. This is why the GB timeline got extended some weeks.
We are also playing with the big boi's.. Tbh i have no idea how many sets are in production atm. Its GMK frenzy times.. :confused:
I think we are lucky if we can sneak up in there along side minimal.
I have pushed for a update, and i am sure as soon things are planned out I'll hear back and I'll update here with a timeline :thumb:

I've used it for a decade since i lived in the Faroes for a while, it's an easy layout to cover languages I use all the time. That said, there's a bunch of Icelanders around here so I'm surprised there isn't more of a push to at least include Ð in Norde sets.

The vertical bar (pipe) goes to either along with the accents key or with the <> key. I think they are mostly the same.

I checked my 9009 norde kit and it's pretty much the same as your pic's + a bunch of the base set alphas lol
There is in generally some degree of tilt on some of the legends on varies GMK set's check your WoB G for a instance. Leaning towards center.
I am not sure the percentage is there to justify replacements from GMK, let see once more kit's get delivered. Viewing angle is also something to have in mind, put them lupe's down ^-^

I do think however, that we are paying for the quality we're used to. This isn't some cheap Chinese crap and it wouldn't hurt if it would be pointed out to them for future reference. Also, even though I know nothing about the manufacturing process, I would suspect this kind of thing is easily avoidable.

To address the tilting of some of the legends. I could not agree more on the reason we pay a premium for GMK caps, is because of the quality we can expect.
I am sure tough if we receive enough "effected" caps, GMK will be happy to send replacement if we feel that is simply not good enough.
Even though we have seen some delays from GMK now and the upscale in order's and quantity that could effect manufacturing and QC etc.
GMK have announced that they have planned for expanding production capabilities by 25% if i am not mistaken, so hopefully this is not something we should fear for future GB's
Mine will finally ship tmr and should be with me next week so i can check them out. Totally my own fault ^-^
I had to combine some stuff with the blanks that ended up being some of the incorrect profiles.
Hope you all are getting them kit's in soon or already have them. Cant wait for mine :p

But if you look closely, the keys from this set are somewhat more tilted.
Obviously, we have to thank ISO_RETURNS and mykeyboard.eu for making this set possible, they are not the ones who produced the keys and did a great job.

The error is minor which explains why it hasn't been noticed, at least until now, and especially moreso with Norde/UK and international kits in general being a vast minority relative to the rest of keys that are often used.
The fewer eyes, the lower the likelihood to tell them apart and pick out these errors.
The best we can do as enthusiasts is to point it out and hope for a future resolution, but at this point, I do not really think GMK is at fault.

I believe you. You have the caps in front of you. There is no other way to better tell if they look different. I was just saying that the so called issue is not the tilt but optical effect of having the legends too close to the edge of the cap. But well, nobody can tell better that those that already got their caps and have something to compare with.

Regarding the crooked legends, I gonna try to do some comparison shots. I just didn't have proper time yet. For does of us on the Norde kit wagon, the same issues was on the Oblivion Norde kit, really wanna try stop this for MoDoL if possible.

yea, some legends have been reported slightly titled. Punctuation is hanging a bit.
Looks like it's the same on my oblivion norde, punctuation especially.

Did the R2 ever happen / will it? I would really love to pick one of these up.
The original GB runner has been trying to pick this up for a while now. I will try to find out what the current status is. I imagine it'd only be for WoB as BoW NorDe kits ran recently in both WS1 & WS2 versions (GMK Minimal R2, GMK Monochrome R2, GMK Colorchrome).
