BigKey Switch Type?
« on: Tue, 31 October 2017, 14:12:04 »
Anyone have one of these?  I got one at goodwill for cheap and it's a tackle and clicky feel, but it's definitely not a cherry blue.  So what's the switch?

Why didn't I think about the wiki.  :-[

Yep, that's the board and that feels like the switches too.  Not bad for $3.  :thumb:

According to the website — https://www.bigkeys.com/what_lx_features.asp — the BigKeys LX has "Top quality click-style key switches, tested to over 10 million keystrokes" — but having written to them (twice, September this year and September last year) to ask what they're using now, they've not responded. So they're in my bad books.

I think they haven't responded because they don't want people gutting the boards for the switches.  But I wouldn't have even thought about picking up the board if it wasn't for the switches as my parents already have custom big-print Ms.
