I'll start preparing the invoices for those 50. Since only 1 person needs assembly I'll visit gracious Nathan for that one unit.

Leaving the form open for waitlisters of course, however we shouldn't have too many drop outs (fingers crossed).

Did you end up writing a TMK keymap for it? That would make me ever so happy.

I will take a stab at doing it. I've used TMK before, but never set up a new project. I have a need for it as the GUI tool doesn't seem to support what I have in mind (or maybe it does and someone can show me?): tap for input 1 ('space' input), hold for input 2 (momentary layer 'Fn0').

It actually does using the advanced fn layer options

I was talking about the aluminium plates, not the acrylic middle layers.

I'll try and organize for ordering extra parts but I really want to keep the deadline solid.

I'm waiting on Greatfirewall right now. Keep in mind this increases shipping costs both to me and can possibly push them over the 1kg bracket when shipping to you which means it's a lot more expensive to the USA ($10 more) and especially international.

I'm all about that fn space.

Whenever I read the TMK code or try to think about creating a new keymap my mind turns to jelly. I can edit an existing keymap someone has made though, and I love the ability to tweak a layout repeatedly over time - with an online editor I'd have to redo it every time.

The online editor is DEFINITELY important for those that want the ease of use though, so I see its value.

Including my own there were only 56 entries so the probability of Round 2 is extremely low.

Reading through some of the feedback... I will mention I only got 1 sample board. I can't exactly get a sample of each acrylic color either.

Acrylic extras will be sold for $25 each to cover increased shipping and the cost of acrylic itself.

I'll be sending out the main invoices which EXCLUDE extras.
In the main invoice you'll have both an order number (your numerical spot in the GB) and a unique transaction code (not the PayPal transaction code) listed in the details.
Your transaction code is unique to you. I will use it to verify address changes so if you decide you want to sell your spot you sell the code and the buyer can send me the code with his/her new address. I'm just testing this as an idea.

I suspect that the Australian and European buyers will be coming to me about the shipping costs.

Please message me about shipping costs before paying. As I mentioned I used the cheapest method with tracking as a default for each parcel. If I made an exception for you please PM me. I am willing to ship with no tracking AT YOUR RISK. This will reduce the cost of shipping significantly. If you're willing it can even go by boat for dirt cheap but that's not something I recommend since boat mail is known to have higher loss rates among Canada Post staff. (However I've used it in the past many times with good success, like I said, your risk).

For the extra acrylic plate, PM me after paying with the extra acrylic sets that you want. I will invoice you for extras separately.

If it goes faster it would be a lot easier but since I stated originally that invoices would only be due the 23rd I won't change that. If all the money is collected before then I'll submit the order earlier with GFW.
Just a clarification, the $25 charge for the extra acrylic does not cover the potential increase in shipping from me to you, only the cost of the acrylic and the additional shipping from China

EDIT: I expect somebody with a moose to ride up to my door to deliver this. German Post / DHL offers this for around 22$ (insured for 50€) or 31$ with insurance for up to 1000€ in the other direction.

You can't buy it from someone inside the US, but you (inside the US) can buy it through taobao via a proxy shipping service.
