"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

I guess so with the right people and the right setting?
In my experience alcohol is needed for people to actually open up. Danish people in my area are so closed off.

I'm old enough to have had LAN parties* while young enough to not be allowed to drink, do they count?  I imagine they'd still be fun given the right game and the mouse/keyboard vs controller option that's always been missing.  Stupid fiddly little sticks...

*for all the young 'uns - in the dark ages before broadband games were so laggy online you had to take your full size ATX computer and CRT monitor to a friend's house to play multiplayer games properly.

to a friend's house

The entire concept of going to a friend's house is becoming obsolete.

No.
Unless you're only inviting people who doesn't care to drink.
But most people will want alcohol.

You can, but you need games. Lots of them. Pref board games. And even then, it'd be better with alcohol. But it's possible.

I don't know if I'd call it a party if there isn't alcohol involved. More like a meeting between friends. :P

How is this even a question? Yes. I have christian minecraft server parties where the bois and grils come together and eat chips and pizza.
It can be done, but it's pretty much impossible for an adults party.
You'll find it at kids parties.

dude, like 90% of the student body thought they were living in an anime. That's what happens when you cater specifically to reclusive talented socially awkward geeks. The only parties I ever heard about were during PAX or GDC.

:)) the entire school was nothing BUT engineers and artists. You'd think the artists would party more, but nope, no time to party when you are crushed by towers of work.

That sounds like my kind of party :))
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
