My wife's boss is about to have a new nursery built but since he actually lives far away in Tokyo he had a garage built first on the property to park his cars in while he's out of town.

Want to know what he daily drives when he's here? A Nissan Skyline R34 V-Spec II Nur.
The ****ing thing is beautiful and in immaculate condition. (although I can't say that I like the Millennium Jade color)
This car is what ****ing dreams are made of, I need to convince this guy to give it to me XD

But yeah, my wife was at a company dinner the other week and found out about the garage he had built (they thought it was a weirdly large storage space for the nursery before, although I highly suspected it was a garage) and found out that the reason he actually drives the R34 all the time is because he doesn't want to add KM's to his Aston Martin..... I ****ing hate this guy lol

*warning* boring life **** you probably want to skip reading.
So.....in the past year or so I've managed to have a minor accident and i accidentally ripped off my front lip backing into a steep driveway trying to move out of the way of two cars on a super cramped street barely a car wide that google maps led me into.

I'm also having issues with my car losing massive massive amounts of power that turns on the check engine light when my AC is on. My passenger (front left) wheel bearing is gone and making a horrible noises. My passenger (front right) coilover blew the other week spewing the strut fluid everywhere. My rear passenger side CV boot is ripped for no apparent reason. My car's been getting much more MPG than it usually does and I think that might be due to a clogged Catalytic converter.... To top that all off I got my car's tax stub today for $450..... **** Me.

This might actually fit in "what's bothering you" more but I figured it's car related enough?

I've got an interesting car question for you experts ...

This is an unusual battle between the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro - the newest model/revision:

If you have no intention of getting snow tires and stick only with high quality all season tires which model would be better for winters?  Obviously some folks will chime in and say NO you need snow tires ... ok FU you didn't read up above.. would one have superior traction programming over the other?

Oh yeah take into consideration both are Automatic.

Continental.

Vredestein makes some of the best performance winter tires. They have served me well on 160 km/h runs to Whistler.

Michelin Alpin PA4 is pretty good too, but I haven't used, can only vouch for Vredestein's WINTRAC XTREME (the new S one should be even better).

That said, they might be hard to come by and I had to get my set from a vendor across the country, but they have done their job time and time again. Next time I might try the Alpin PA4.

I really can't recommend All Seasons because they're really a North American invention, and can't do anything well. Get All Seasons if you are on an ultra budget and never venture out of the city, and drive super slow on icy winter days.

Tires are the only contact between your car and the ground; you should really consider putting money into it for your safety.

Bruh, I'm the same. A guy I went to school with has just bought a Porsche Macan and already has a 2014 GTR with about 700bhp... So I'm pretty jealous.

That sounds like a hell of a lot of stuff to go wrong at the same time though dude :( At least the car still looks pretty kickass :D

Yeahhhh, I'm considering putting a 2.5L V6 TDi engine from an A4/A6/Passat in my car if it can fit. I know a guy who does conversions so I'm asking him if he thinks he can get it to work. The AKE, BDH, BAU generation from the Passat 5.5 and A4/6 C5.

Hopefully it can work as the engines can be mapped to like 280bhp, and that's on stock parts. Image putting a massive **** off turbo on that as well

S2K's are so dope. There's this one by my house that's pretty.. uh.. I'll be nice and say "riced out" but that's not the best way to describe it. The exhaust he put on it didn't fit the stock cutout so he just took of the entire rear bumper. Also has some "interesting" body work.

So I've been trying to figure out the difference between MPSS (Michelin Pilot Super Sport) and MPS4 (Michelin Pilot Sport 4).

Seems like MPS4 isn't going to be replacing the MPSS, but will be a more economical and value-oriented choice for those who need the extra treadwear and durability.

Will probably pick up some new tires for my daily driver and will probably be sticking with MPSS. Anyone have experience with the newer MPS4?

Turns out the 2.5l V6 is mounted the wrong way. So I'm going to have to go for a 3.0L V6 from a newer Audi.

Just been quoted £8k for supply and fitting.

See you guys, I'm off to save for my new project.

Seems a bit random to have a guy with a wheelchair there =/

Boooooo.  What are they saying about it?  And that's a lovely shot.  :D

Well it just doesn't seem to be "liked" as much as some other cars are. People seem to prefer rare parts rather than what I'm doing to my car, but whatever.

I'm not very familliar with VAG. What are you trying to do again?

I'm basically trying to put a big-ass diesel engine in my car. I was looking online at engines I could put in, obviously not knowing about that much about them, like which way they were mounted, and the 2.5l V6 seemed like a good fit, was fairly common and I could get one for quite cheap. But it turns out its mounted in-line rather than transversely like my Golf is, however the 3L V6 from the Audi A6 C7 fits. And they are about 240bhp and 400lb/ft as standard...

Yeah, might need to look into that. The tuning thing I contacted says the constructor is probably gonna be able to see it's been tinkered with...

What they can probably see is the number of cycles that are on the ecu. So I'd swap it back in a few days or a week before hand (depending on how much you drive).

Nick, your engine swap plans could be REALLY COOL, haha. Do you do the work yourself? I'd be amazed to see how it turns out. Audi powerplant sounds like a great idea.

Also updates for my car restorations (I have 5 ongoing car builds right now, it's overwhelming to say the least with stuff all over the house).

Thanks man. It's going to be sweet. Hopefully it doesn't take me too long to save up the money. I wouldn't do it myself, I know a guy who lives quite close to me who specialises in doing them, and his handiwork is really amazing. Shaved bays and everything. I would love to help out but I'm pretty sure I would be a hinderance :P

Damn dude, lucky you don't have all that SKIDATA coming to your house as well! What is the list of cars you've got going?

All you guys with your keyboards on your cars... I'm going to be there soon...

I need a Cherry board from 1991 to complete my collection. A German one if possible...
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

Huh?  I must be completely out of it.  I guess I'm one of the few that actually drive my car with a huge smile on my face everywhere I go!  To each their own.

God damn. For a second I thought I was looking at a gt86. Mazda makes some good looking cars.

For a brief moment I played with the idea of chiptuning my Passat (from 150bhp to 190), but I really don't want to risk losing my warranty... Next car will need to have more hp :p

DO IT! I have a B5.5 Passat 1.8T that I got chipped, and I love it to death. Malone Stage 1. 170hp to 215hp.
What year and engine is yours?

2015, engine is the 2.0 TDI.
pls gief bbv2

Wut. No I mean I want to combine my two hobbies. I do drive everywhere with a smile on my face, I just need to make some tweaks to make it even better  ;D
