Plate sourcing for old LZ-S

So I stumbled across an old LZ keyboard, an LZ-S.

I've confirmed that I can get a new compatible Snow Pro PCB, but the plate is an unknown.

I'm also super new to the hobby and don't really understand what the worst case scenario is.

Can I just learn CAD and draw up a compatible PCB if I open up the case and measure dimensions?

Not shy about learning how to do it myself since it's basically learning a new skill.

How would you approach a plateless Kustom?

Maybe ask LZ if there's a plate file and get one cut?

Isn't the S the same as an LZ-GH? The plates might actually be compatible.

Thanks, I've reached out to LZ so hopefully I can either find one or get one cut. Looks like the plate is pretty much incompatible with everything as far as the hivemind can tell.
